The nozzle on the aerosol locks once it is activated from what i recall. You took a real chance remaining in the car with the canister discharging. where can you buy it from

a local garage who I have been going to years, I replaced the springs and clips myself after there fell off, and had a chance to take a look and there looked right, unless theres a special way of putting them in? thanks for your help in advance

yeah the pads are brand new 3 weeks old all round mintex, thanks for the advise on hcecking sticky calipers, will try it tomorrow, and may take the pads out and put them back in to see if that makes a difference

Been having a few problems with my rear passenger brakes and wheel. But today has really concerned me. The problem, is as I am driving I can hear a scrapping noise in a rhythm style, not constant, and when i brake i hear a clunk sound and then constant scrapping whilst applying the brakes. At lunch went to Sainsburys to fill up which is 2 miles away from where I work, and by the time I got there the alloy wheel is full of brake dust, alot worse then what it was when I arrived at work. its basically gone black with dust. Been talking to a fellow LOC member who advised that the noise whilst driving could be the backing plates, But what could be the problem with the other noises, its look serious from the state the alloy wheel has got into after driving for 2 miles, and I got 30 miles to get home. luckly its my day off tomorrow.

That's the way to do it. Programming instructions are pinned in the IS200 section of the forum. Any issues, PM me. I have a pre-cut key spare (internal electronics is the only bit ya need), think is a two button, but I have used it as a master! PM me if interested, I'll have to find it! I think I also have a flip-out style blank case, though with holes for three button internals. If anyone is interested, I'll check them out and post a thread. I beleive this is the conclusive test for all IS200 (others Lexus too, I think.) phew, yeah its a master just checked on my lunch break lol Yeah would be very interested in the pre-cut key and the flip out ones, cause i like those styles, the flip out one would i need the same things as with the standard ones?

On my 1999 IS200, when I insert a non-master key into the ignition, the security light comes on briefly. When I insert a master key, the security light does not come on. will check that today, nice one

Thanks for that, I am assuming a pre-cut key with buttons would be available from Lexus or anywhere else? and at what cost? Yeah been looking at the shells on ebay, so might buy one of those. Thanks
