  12. hi, could i have opinions please on why my drivers side front tyre is worn on the inside. the 3 inches or so innermost are bald and the rest is ok. would it be a wishbone or something. all other tyres are ok. i assume im looking at an repair bill.
  13. i had mine done which involved a pit, taking out one cat, some swearing and 20 pound for the trouble. unfortunately the only guy i know who can do it is in the north of scotland. definately no need to take the engine out
  14. i was thinking of selling mine (95 n) 150000 mls very good service history until i got it then serviced it myself new alternator/o ring new egr pipe for£800 but thats too low and i cant part with it till i get a newer one would not know what to ask for it to be honest if i ever did sell it
  15. dont use asda fuel. i did and my car hates it thought it was going to die it was that bad (the car not me)
  16. my car failed mot because of the egr being broken. a mechanic mate at my work replaced it no problem after taking the cat off first.
  17. hi, how i changed the o ring was to put lots and lots of rags around the bottom of the resovoir tank and removed the 3? i think bolts using a spanner and a socket. i then lifted it quickly off the bracket and put my finger over the hole at the bottom. i drained the tank and cleaned it up then replaced the o ring. then replaced the tank and refilled, making sure there was no fluid lying about. very simple and easy job. you could always use a turkey baster or such to drain tank first before you remove it. worked for me
  18. just take it to crap fit and let them do it. let them have all the trouble.
  19. you could try fleabay item number 170233753467 he does upgraded ones too in different colours. dont know what they are like though

  22. had the blades on the car for a while now and they been working great. anyone got an opinion on using multigrade oil for lexus/any lesser car as i have a free supply of it and was maybe considering using it in my audi
  23. mine were £4 each from tesco for flat bladed ones. easily fitted and no noise from them at all. halfords is a waste of time unless you want fluffy dice or a simpsons air freshener. there are plenty of other motor factor places about nowadays without bothering that lot just my opinion
