  3. interior you can have any light you want - as long as colours such as blue and green are not visable to a driver thought your rear window and front screen , so when your driving it looks like an emergency services. illigal colours to use at the front are blue green and red.
  4. as title guys looking for a cheap cd/mp3 player , some where local would be great so i can collect on friday or saturday.
  5. u wont believe this i just gt a qoute off diamond for the fun off it. it come up wwith £1159 for just me, i added my mum as 2nd driver and it went doe to £850 :o what happened yo equal oppertunity and diversity :D
  6. well ive made a start on them... i sprayed it with some undercoat and left it to set for a couple of hours, sprayed the 2nd coat and let it bake in the oven :) i heated the oven up to maxium and then switch it off and put the light in and let it dry up in the oven over night see what the out come is.... i got the oven idea with the spray from work today when i went to the repair center, the spray a car and stick it in the oven to harden the paint. thought id try it see what happenes...im hoping it would make it more heat resistance i dont know how .... but its just a thought B)
  7. even better go onto moneysupermarket.com - do it that way round
  8. have you tried direct line wozza ? tesco is owned by directline if they qouting you then so should directline.
  9. I always thought HIDs were actually cooler than halogen bulbs in terms of temperature? i once thought that but , supprisingly their not. have you ever touched the headlight after they been on for awhile ?
  10. yep your on the right line. its basically the nautre of the job. its the same with door men. working in clubs and pubs put you at high risk because if u get in a dipute with some one the 1st thing they will do is damage your car is they know which one it is or know where you live.
  11. oh - you got no way round :-D tell them your a rapper :winky:
  12. if you dont mind me asking what is your occupation?. there are ways round it with out voiding your insurance. for example.... say your a market trader. if you told the insurance company your occupation is a market retailer/trader (self employed) your insurance will be more expensive than if you told them your a "retailer" they are both the same job. but it wil have a impact for some stupid reason.
  13. I think I may have a better deal than both of you! About to renew at £880, fully comp. I am more like the age of crazy-dee (23), but with mods similar to Wozza. Only 2 years NCB. One redeeming factor is probably my low crime postcode. i work for directline and even with staff discount it was working out dearer than £1200, i got that through Halifax. its most deffinatly the area code thats having the increase on price.
  14. mine cost £1200 , £150 more dearer than a group 12 vectra only because my lex is a 2000model and the vectra was 1999. its stupid 22, clean lience OL8 postcode ( high crime rating apprantly - we cane even remember the last time a car was broken into any thing in the area.) 3yrs NCD
  15. single all the way :D i like the hotel one, i shall bear that in mine :)
  16. okkkk....... how do i convert that to english so i can read it :)
  17. i know there is the light tinting spray you can buy. but i guess thats only for the outside of the light. and with a HID kit it will be even more hot.
  18. Im thinking of spraying the inside of my headlights..... what do i use?? can i just use a normal spray can or do i need it treat it or mix any think to make it heat resistance and not crack up ??
