That reminds me Lexus quoted me £102 for a regas and i keep getting conflicting reports whether this is the right price, is this a job i can trust to a kwik fit or should i just bite the bullet and get it done at lexus?

Have you tried to get even more off at Kwikfit? I managed to knock off another £100 by just asking last month on the Pirellis they had on the 25% off. I did go a few days before the end of the month so maybe that factored into the negotiations.

Strange question but can't seem to find a definitive answer. Been on ebay and found a few options but not sure if they are the right size for the LS. With the tyre pressure think its 33 is the recommended pressure.

My LS has the Clunck noise when im turning occasionally when parking. The front ball joints were both replaced by lexus by the previous owner about 11,000 miles ago are they gone already then?

Well im getting my LS a baby service, spark plugs changed and cambelt changed for £790 in Lexus Woodford so i would of thought its very expensive.

Sounds very similar to myself!! This seasons of House, Smallville, 24 & Lost have been very good but very disappointed with Heros. 24 is amazing and to think that they had an 18month break they have hardly skipped a beat. Very impressed with it and cant wait to get home and watch episode 16 now!! You should definitely get the rest of the seasons as they are amazing but not to spoil it for you but Jack doesnt die in seasons 1-6 ;-)

Well just to give an update, i finally got this sorted on Friday at Kwik Fit. Ordered 4 x pirelli p6000 for £487.24 including fitting. (A discount of £364!!!) I think i got a good deal for a good set of tyres but its a lot more that i wanted to pay for some tyres! I used the wheel nuts that were on my factory standard alloys but they seem quite exposed with no caps on. Is there any that someone could recommend i get? Thanks

Sometimes insurance can be canceled when you miss a payment. I was watching Police Interceptors and a truck driver was done driving into work. He even had his cover note in the car but his policy had been canceled as his wife had missed a payment. That meant points and he lost his job as he needed a clean license. Its harsh but you have to double check these days.

This is a turn up for the book, i rang kwik fit to see if they would fit the tyres if i bought from Camskill and they said they wouldn't so i asked for a quote on some budget tyres and they were giving me largish prices for Firestones. Turns out they are offering 25% discount on pirellis soo im getting a set of 4 pirelli p7's for £438.24 fitted and balanced which i thought is a great price.

Well i ended up at kwik fit this morning as i wanted my alloys fitted asap but it turns out that they need new tyres so im on the hunt for some cheap decent tyres. I don't know exactly what will fit your alloys (e.g. whether they need specific wheel nuts), but as far as I can tell those McGard ones you've linked to on eBay are not the right ones. I've seen other people here on LOC say they've used them on the IS200, and whilst they will physically fit the OEM alloys, they're a different shape from the OEM wheel nuts, so I don't think they're right at all. The 21156 McGard nuts are a very close match for the OEM wheel nuts, and that's what I've got on mine. As I say though, you'll need to check what will fit your alloys as well as fitting onto the OEM stud. Thanks for all the info. The alloys already have tyres on i am just getting them fitted and balanced so should be ok. Will probably be going to Protyre enfield on saturday. Got a quote of £42 to get them fitted. Also the tyres are not exactly right for my car they are 4.5% off but checking it states that if my speedo says 60mph i'm doing 57.5mph. Is this ok or am i gonna be doing some serious damage to my car? Thanks again
