It looks like the original TTE front bumper but just with different mesh. Ladies_Love_Lex: It's funny I couldn't find your car on eBay mate I searched for "lexus is300", the search engine is pretty rubbish it seems. Found it off the item number. It's interesting to see how much fuller the engine bay is with the 3 litre straight six, on the IS200 there's a big gap to one side. An old man walking past in my street asked me what I'd taken out! It is the original bumper etc, the other half took it off and took the mesh out and sprayed it silver, so its easy enough to put back black. Ive never really looked at the engine bay on an IS200 i will have to get my sister to show me later when i see her. :)

No my other half wanted it sprayed silver when he put the chrome handles on it, i wasnt sure at first but i do quite like it now. Easy enough to spray back black, just needing the time and dry weather!!

The fuel isnt much different, my sister has a white IS200 and we do roughly the same miles as we work together and we put about the same petrol in. Not sure why you cant find it, its got 33 watchers Item number:140334757183. Im certainly not letting it go for nothing, i will put it out the front of my house tommorow if it doesnt reach reserve on ebay.

BTW- what are you replacing your IS300 with? Was hoping to find a GS300 SE-L or GS430 05 onwards in either black, white or caspian sky. Some people have got some neck though offering £2000 after an AA inspection honestly, its got way more than your every day common car like Audis, BMWS that are the same age and yet im sure they would pay more for the name. People dont have a clue! All down to personal taste i suppose.

My IS300 is on ebay, the reserve is set at £4500 which i think is reasonable? A few People have phoned me offering £2000-£2500 AFTER an AA inspection :o A man called, asked me every question about the car, aranged to come and see it tommorow and then asked what the reserve was, when i said it was £4500..... he replied oh no thats way more than i wanted to spend!! How much did he think he was going to get it for?? Is it me who is deluded about the price or people just take the P**S?? :tsktsk: I paid £8500 for it a year ago, im not giving it away. Thats me rant over!!! :winky: :)

I would love a GS430 because i do want the extra power and the adaptive cruise controll (which i think the GS300 doesnt have) The only thing is im 20 and its alot easier to insure a GS300 than a GS430, it helps being a girl but my age is against me. The cheapest Lexus for me to insure is an RX400h

Yeh ive noticed that, and GS's have gone up. I remember a GS430 was on Auto trader for £7995!!!!!!! and now the cheapest is £11995. How annoying, should of bought a few months ago!!

Yes on the hunt now for a 2005 Black GS430 SE-L or GS300 SE-L, with grey of cream leather interior... so if any one knows of any a point in the direction would be much appreciated :) Not in any rush because i want the right one so dont mind waiting a little while for it to come along.

got offered £4,300 on it px at a private garage against a Caspian Sky IS250, Also i think a dealer bought it as all is feedback is for cars... but all cheap cars under £1000 so dunno if they wanted it for personal use or not

Yes thats mine :( I will be sad to see it go... I cant change it now as people have already been bidding for it as its shown in the pics.... If for any reason the highest bidder turns out to be a messer i might spray it back and then re list it, the original stereo will definately be going back in but i did put that in the listing. Its annoying you cant just edit the listing, i didnt realise that so now i have 2 descriptions!!

Hiya, You can get clear reflectors to replace the orange the ones, im sure ive seen them on ebay so just a case of having a look. No problem with replacing alloys, i think you should have at least 19" on it or better still 20" :) If you go onto www.driveandview.com you can get an idea or something on there that will allow you to watch the tv and some also have a reversing camera input on. Im not sure but i dont think Lexus cover the rust if it has started from a chip, or if its because of a repair. If its starting bubbling from underneath they might cover it under the anti corrosion warranty, You will have to check with Lexus on that one though. Not sure on the lights and headlight washers not working.... Hope you get it all sorted and enjoy it while the sun is shining :)

Yeh you can get them, you can get non genuine cheap ones as well
