Just watched Piers Morgan On Monaco ( on ITV1 ) In the south of France, Monaco is one of the worlds most expensive places to live. Packed with millionaires, yachts and luxury cars.....6 Bugatti Veyron's registered there priced at 1.1Million euros before tax and it being common to see 3 ferrari's in a row and guess what..... Prince Albert (of Monaco) pulls up and gets out of a LS600h with his body guards in GS's well got to hand it to the guy he must have taste!!!! quality must mean more to him than price tag!! Any one else see it??

Its just started snowing again ( in Weston Super Mare ) and the ground is already white.... Its doing my head in now because i hate driving in it, i think its so dangerous and i really dont want to have to fork out an £800 excess ... Has everyone else still got snow?

Its been snowing since about 2pm today in Weston-Super-Mare..... my driveway was all lovely white and untouched when i came home and the dog loves the snow!!! Looks like we havent had that much compared to other places, I hope it snows tonight then i can take the kids to the park tommorow and they can go down all the slopes, and maybe i mite just try it aswel P.S. it looks like its gettin much thicker now..... no work 2moro :D

It is not illegal to have remote start fitted to your car Auto or manual (subject to safty items) in the UK but it is illegal to use it on a road. It does not void your insurance it is up to your insurance company if they insure you or not so you should tell them what alarm you have and any add ons to that alarm. like one member commented it may reduce your insurance premium?? Its up to the insurance company, "Direct line would prob have a melt down if i asked about Super charging my car" (the last comment was a joke by the way) Im with tesco now and they are the same.

I dont understand where i have told people not to declare their mods I did say if you dont declare them thats up to them, I told you i was charged £68 by direct line for my wheels. so im a little confused to when i said dont declare your mods. I told them to tell the insurance company the thief fitted it but you must have realised that was a sarcastic comment. I have pointed out that some mod's are illegal but people still have them, Remote start does not void your insurance, nor does speeding as far as im aware? can any one help with this? You cant tell some who askes a question about remote start that it is illegal and voids his insurance when its not true. No attitude was ment but all i did was point out some things and i put at the top of one of my posts "Well not being funny and dont take this the wrong way BUT" there is no attitude in this and none was ment so your comment about "you opened yourself up for abuse with that one" I did not open myself up for anything most of all abuse. Remote start is not an illegal mod you just should not use it on a public highway or where it can cause danger to others. You do have to have self leveling with HID conversions and change the head light itself to meet ECE 98 approval I would love to hear someone say to a Police officer when you have just ran over some one when you were speeding>>>> "Im happy to take the law into my own hands on certain occasions when i speed and im fully aware of the consequences and risks and i take the necessary precautions" but dont worry officer i dont have remote start fitted I gess my point is that remote start does not void your insurance unless it was stolen when it was being used and it cant be stolen when being used because it cant be driven by the owner let alone the thief and as for being illegal take the risk we do that when we speed do we not?

About 2 weeks after we got it, i was just about parked and a woman in an old golf smacked the front of it and ripped the bumper off, scraped all my wheel, dented the wing and arch.... when she done it she got out and appologised admitted she wasnt looking where she was going etc so we exchanged details.... then when we reported it to Tesco they come back that she said it was my fault and I pulled out into her :tsktsk: My other half bodged the bumper so it was back on (just a bit bent ) so it could be driven as we thought this would be pretty clear cut... well months down the line they are still arguing about it.. i didnt want to have to claim on my insurance and pay an £800 excess and have the claim so we got my brother in - law to sort it for us (whiteLEX) as he works in a body shop spraying etc so we dropped the claim and it saved us a load of ££ thank fully. we wanted a GS430 but cant get insurance for me until im 21 and the ones that will insure me want £2500, but thats just ridiculous!! But funny enough we looked at getting an RX400h and insurance for both of us is only about £700 a year, so nearly half the price of the IS300... i just dont know how they justify their prices.... never mind only a year to go and then we can start looking at GS430's again :-)

have to say i dont agree with this post, i would be confident in saying the majority of people on here have declared there mods. As for the lights, the law is so unclear on the legality of them there really is no issue with them at the minute. i agree with people speed, but again the majority of sensible drivers on here would do it in areas they are familiar with and where they know there are no cameras. I never hold the phone to my head as you never know whos watchin round the corner, and i would never purposly drive over a zebra as its just rude! All your examples are by choice and you can stop breaking the law at any point, by fitting an illegal mod you can never stop doing it, so if you have an accident, your buggered! and umm i dont think i'd like to try n trick the insurance company, i can see that going to court and then finding out your bank statements buying the alarm and then FRAUD SQUAD! IF YOU HAVE AN ACCICEDENT WHEN SPEEDING YOUR MORE THAN BUGGERED AND IF YOU KILL SOMEONE YOUR DEEP IN THE SH :tsktsk: T AND YOU GOT TO LIVE WITH THE GUILT. I SPEED ALL THE TIME I ADMIT THAT, I CHANCE THE AMBER LIGHT, I WOULD NOT DRINK AND DRIVE NOR WOULD I RUN DOWN THE OLD LADY BUT I ALSO WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT A REMOTE START NOR DID I WORRY ABOUT A RADAR DETECTOR WHEN WE SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD THEM. YOU CANT CHOSE TO BREAK THE LAW WHEN YOU WANT THE LAW IS NOT MADE BY US, YOU BREAK IT YOU BREAK IT SIMPLE.
