i have just had someone back into my car and they have put a thick scratch across the bumper has anyone used one of the scratch away, type companies how good is the finish its a mica red (metallic) gs 300 sport

i have a mk1 gs 300 sport and whilst driving through a gated entrance i caught the bottom of the cat with the central limp sticking up from the ground its acrtually split what looks like the cat surround..........right at the bottom of the exhaust manifild and where the exhaust starts at the back of the engine # question is can this part be replaced without having to replace whole exhaust.....or would some sort of repair be possible what sort of cost would ther be in getting the part necessary...........the car is in portugal, so i would bneed to get the part shipped over, or a temporary repair made until september when the car will be driven back to the UK

is there a sumer/winter setting somewhere on the mk 1 gs300 at all.......since the summer has arrived, on starting my car from cold it ticks over at higher than normal revs...........ok in the winter though any ideas

no space on the LS400 for it to drop when i had mine (LS400) we did it with a 50p piece and red lined it and that stayed put havent done it on my gs300 sport, as its 10 years old

my 97 gs300 sport electric aerial is broken........the motor still works but the aerial it self refuses to come up if i rplace it# will an aftermarket aerial fit ok or do i need to get a lexus specific one .

told yesterday my rear brake light isnt working on my 97 gs300sport...........so went to change it and its completely encased, i assume i have to take the 3 bolts out of the back and then the light unit comes out.............is this correct if its that much trouble, are the brake light bulbs standard ones from a "euro" bulb kit or if not, what do i need to buy/get also as i live in portugal, what "toyota" parts will fit my car lexus have only been selling in portugal for a short time so i am assuming they will have limited stock of old parts "if any"...........i have never seen a gs300 sport (mk1) since i moved here 7 years ago

just read the how to on the changing of front pads, excellent thanks, but how or what is different obout changing the rear pads the brake warning light is on now after about 2000 miles of driving since purchase of the car.................also there has been some squeel (i assume its brake dust build up) are anti squeel shims still sold and used in cars like this i am going to change all 4 sets..............on my own, i have done other cars before, but never worked on my lexus before.................more a necessity whilst i am over in portugal also when looking at on line purchase of disc pads........does a "pair" mean two wheels worth or two "pads"

i taxed my van on line whilst i was in portugal and it arrived at my uk address 2 days later was posted to me and when i went back to uk aweek later all was very cool, no problems at all

I have a mk1 gs300 and i am travelling to europe, does anyone know exactly on the lights the little converter goes......the pack says the circular sticker sits on a small part of the lens, but it doesnt really show exactly how

Hello all well i have just bought a 97 model gs300 sport in the uk, which i am drivng down to keep in portugal (for 6 months at least) back in 90/91 i bought one of the first LS400's in the uk, fantastic car and really enjoyed driving it................the GS300 is same colour as the 400 i forgot to take picture of it and its still in uk at the moment
