A mate had the autometer gauges on his impreza and suffered quite a few problems with them and the senders for them. Especially the oil pressure onhe. Scared the life out of us when it just decided to stop working one day while we were driving!!!!! Stick with Defi`s if you can, expensive but worth it, and you can get a heads up display unit for them

some interesting ideas here, mine is coming with the original 16" wheels and I know they are a little tired so I will be looking to replace them in the near future. First things first though, I haven`t even got the car yet, although it should be here over the weekend and ready for me on monday

At the moment I`m unsure as to whether I want 17`s or 18`s. The only other bits I may do is the small boot spoiler from the sport and is there an I-pod adapter that can be bought

Due to living on a small island my choice was somewhat limited as to the car I could get. Haqving decided what it was that I wanted and having just missed out on one locally after my Impreza took a little longer to sell than expected I spoke to a mate that imports cars to the island and did a deal with him involving him retrieving one from mainland UK for me. After a look around on the Auto trader site we found two cars that met my criteria and so I left him with a deposit and allowed him to get on with proceedings. Anyway, after calling the first place and being told where to go the second place seemed quite honest and genuine and so all being well a transported will be collecting the car at the beginning of next week :) This means that by this time next week I should be in posession of a Green IS200 S with the grey half leather interior that I wanted :)

what about the Alfa Romeo Mito? They look like quite interesting small cars

Have you considered any of the other small cars available at the moment? How about the AlfaRomeo Mito?

There`s no need to tell me about the slippery slope, my impreza`s got a rally spec ecu among other things so I know all about that.

This is more out of interest than anything but how many of you have modified your IS200`s? I`ve spent the last 8 years modifying numerous different cars but part of the reason for me selling up my Impreza is because I want to try and get out of that habit. I``ve already conceded that I may change the alloys but that would be all and even then it would only be if they were really scruffy

seems like a bargain to me if you do get them at that price

Having had Impreza`s for the last 4 years I`ve finally decided its time for a change and so I`m looking for a green is200 with the grey/black half leather trim. I don`t want the mileage to be particularly high and I live in the channel islands so it would be preferable for it to be as near to weymouth, poole or portsmouth as possible.
