  1. Hi, how did you fit the halo rings and do you have any pics of them lit up?
  2. Still need a pic mate? I have a blue IS300 with a black grill, black mirrors and black wheels :)
  3. Hi, My Is300 requires fluid change as it is pretty high mileage now. Am I right to say that there are 2 different types of diffs? One that requires LSD additive and one that does not?! As per this thread..... http://my.is/forums/f115/2003-is300-rear-diff-noise-443215/ Am I OK to use this stuff..........2x bottles of course for the diff? Castrol Syntrans Multivehicle 75W-90 1L £12.99 http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_209375_langId_-1_categoryId_255220 Or shall I go genuine Lexus? I will probably call them a bit later. What about the gearbox oil? What grade etc? Cheers
  4. Change your leads. Happened to mine. Have you cleaned your engine bay recently?
  5. Engine is $98, 697.53 http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-catalog/1101116729-EngineAndFuel-LFA-2012.html
  6. Is this not brake pad pins or something? Mine does the same. Have removed rust from the brake discs but still the same
  7. I painted my calipers and rear calipers in black. Bought from ebay and yep, was high temp
  8. Hi all, thought I would share this picture of our fleet....Here they are as follows IS300- 2002 with black sports grill, black mirrors and darkened 17" wheels (soon to be changed to gloss black) Also has a Pioneer double din unit with DVD and Parrot car kit. Has done 135k miles and I purchased this in January of this year. Anything been replaced on it/gone wrong?- The power steering pulley collapsed on it with 132k miles on it....once back from my travels....I had a garage replace the following Power steering pump Aux belt Pre tensioner Water pump All spark plugs Oil and filters Has also had a full detail to remove paint swirls etc and is washed each week. Problems that still occur- Rear spring like noise that increases over time as noted here and noise when turning....I think its the brake pads but will replace when need be!GS300 Sport- 1997- Totally standard with the 18" deep dish rear alloys. Everything is totally standard and we have put this into storage as it has only done 92k miles since new......hopefully a future classic? Has the brown interior and cream leather. Anything been replaced on it/gone wrong?- Just front suspension components, brakes, tyres. EVERYTHING still works! LS430- 2004- Totally standard once again. Wheels need refurbishment but everything is sweet as a nut....Has done 85k. Anything been replaced on it/gone wrong?- O2 sensor failed on it.....replaced after about 10 days in the garage, manifold had to be rebored and Lexus did not want to touch this job as it was very labour and time consuming! Anyway, heres a pic, any questions or more pics, let us know :) IS300 is used daily, GS300 is my brothers and the LS430 is used about once a week We were also given a LS400 on a M reg but sold it after repairing it :)
  9. 135k on my IS300. The exhaust is very loud when starting from cold and putting the car into Drive or Reverse (with foot on brake) Going to get it to 140k miles before I look into another exhaust :)
  10. I mean the actual bell speaker. Where are these normally located? mine is on the passenger side rear, next to the kick plate
  11. Will remove the parking sensor today I have had a look on the bahamut is200/300 workshop manual you put up but I cannot find anything on parking sensors :(
  12. I can get you 2x Genuine Lexus IS300 whole mirror housings for £150 delivered if needed mate. I know a guy breaking one :)
  13. Any more help guys? getting worse now. The rear parking sensor is fitted in that location. anybody know if I can remove this from the car? like a small bell shaped sensor.... Or maybe remove the fuse for the parking sensor? I doubt it is this but worth a try
