    I imagine you would just need to use your secure pin to start the car next time you start the car. Surely it wouldn't be daft enough to cut the power to the car because phone connection is lost or anything as it is not like it uses continuous connection when using the key input method. I also find it strange that there isn't an android version

    Yeah I tried imgur the other day after all this and it does seem a good bet, my biggest worry is could they follow the same trend as PB on this? Hence why I was thinking of using onedrive as much as I know Microsoft would like to make every penny they can I cant imagine them needing to go quite as extreme as wanting $399.99 just to keep the right to embed an image on their cloud server! Think the worst onedrive may do is reduce the space to a minimum but I don't use it for anything else so hosting a few hundred forum pictures should never be a problem

    Agreed it would be nice for Lexus to have a presence on Piston Heads, however on the other hand any post made on another forum for Lexus based subjects is a post that would have ideally have been made on here to keep this forum as busy as possible, less activity and posts is the last thing this forum needs!

    Agreed chrome would look best I think, I sometimes think black alloys loose their definition and shape you cant see the pattern anywhere near as well as a silver / chrome paint I'm actually quite a white alloy on white car fan maybe not on the 2is but it works on some cars really well I like such as

    Very jealous I have been after a set for over a year! Have my JR18s for summer be had to use my 2is F-Sport alloys I had refurbished in shadow chrome for winter as I've never come across a set of 3is wheels yet!

    Great feedback and comparison, seems like the 4th gen has pretty much improved in every key area, especially in the looks and interior for me, however the 3rd gen was far from a bad looking car. I would love to have a 3RX one day!

    Those shadow chrome spiders look superb a very nice genuine wheel. Wish they did them in 19"!

    Agreed this is wrong i think I'm right in saying these faulty airbags will sill save more lives than the risk. So i believe the advice should be to leave it on. I'm not saying the issue isn't serious i strongly believe it is but think the benefits of having the bag outweigh the risk. On another note welcome to the forum but this topic would be better placed I the model specific questions you'll receive more feedback. Thanks

    This really infuriates me also. I don't like it when people use screws to try and make their plate day something it doesn't! But it also annoys me when dealerships are lazy and can't be bothered to walk back to box and get the correct coloured cap for the screw location!

    With the correct products and application techniques any factory finish can be achieved by re-finishing it just depends how much time and effort the specialist you choose has gone to, to find the specific match you may require. 90% of wheels are easily matched though so wouldn't have any problems

    A decent attempt mate and the main thing is you have learnt from your mistakes! The next one you do will be much better. The prices people on here quote for alloy wheel dipping and refurbs genuinely shocks me either, either the spots are not doing the expensive corrosion removal work they are just painting over it or they are seriously under charging and devaluing the product, if you can genuinely get wheel dipped blasted and powder coated for £50 a corner then no its not worth getting involved with.

    Yeah I contacted admin this morning to see if they could give me the rights. I wasn't a fan either but it was just habit, been posting on forums for nearly 20 years and just used them from the early days. I'm half tempted to host them on my media server at home but it is set to go to sleep when not used and this would mean having to keep it on 24/7.

    It does, however I cant fix the whole topic until Admin do something to allow me to edit all the old posts! Not sure how they can do that and if they will but once they do I have a 4 hour plan to make it all as it was minus photobucket!

    Yeah I'm not too sure how my body is going to take this one, getting the train to Liverpool as soon as I finish work tonight and returning Sunday evening no doubt much worse for wear!

    Ok well Photobucket have royally screwed my thread this morning with them deciding to stop supporting 3rd party hosting overnight unless I play their $399.99 ransom! Needless to say I wont be doing that but will do everything I can to restore the thread back to a working order with photos. Cant do anything this weekend as I am on a stag doo all weekend but give me a week or so and it will be back up and running!

    Other option is a sound generator mod like I have done here post number 67 Basically alongside the F-Sport induction mod which I have also done like yourself it creates more induction noise when you boot it and you get a rear roar quite a lot more than just the f-sport intake but still subtle. It is still silent when not booting it though The problem I have with exhaust systems is its almost impossible on the is250 not to get drone and get a subtle noise
