My guess is RS200 IS200 manual with TTE charger is pretty slow and with an automatic ,, jesus it must be very slow hehe

Good for you then you might manage that kind of fueleconomy in strictly highwaydriving but not otherwise....i think the engine is an old lump that only found is way down the IS200 becuse they did not have any other small straight six available and did not want to make a new better engine..

I dont like the totally rubbish fueleconomy..it´s pathetic I dont like that the 6th gear is so short...lower revs for highwaydriving would be nice Cruisecontrol would be nice. otherwise it is a good car.

This weekend i put my Lexus on the rollingroad to see if the 205hp and 250nm claimed by TTE was true. well almost i got 198bhp and 251nm of torque so it is pretty close B) Notice the BHP curve is still rising as the revlimiter jumps in...TTE has lowered the max RPM by 300 or maybe 400rpm compared to a standard IS200 that will go on to about 6500rpm. I also asked them to put in a broadband-lamda to see the lamdbavalue and it was 13.6 in the high Rpm´s ! so it is running a bit lean so think once or twice before you put on more mods as it will run even leaner then,,,can be dangerous if you are in the high RPM´s for a longer period of time...giving it more fuel is good way to go. all you need is the tool that monster-mat showed.....i use the same one and removing the oilfilter is no problem at all it just take some time as it is pretty narrow.

P.Lindblom send me a PM or write here how it is possible to get it legal,,yeah i heard that the previous car cleared MOT with the kit so i hoping to make it also...but that will be next summer B)

We dont have any TUV in sweden...the TTE kit is not legal in sweden....Toyota tried to get it legal but failed i think....but i think the chances are good..there a not alot of IS200 here in sweden so they might think the supercharger is standard

Monster-Mat Iám not dissapointed at all with my IS200 infact i love it..but calling a stock IS200 fast is not right becuse it is not...i dont compare it to it´s rivals becuse it is irrelevant becuse it´s rivals are equally slow in standard form...you dont buy a IS200 or it´s rivals based on straightline performance..you buy it becuse it is a high quality saloon with superb looks that gives you a very very nice drive. i dont know what kind of stock super IS200 you owned that goes 0-60 in 7.1seconds(did you start in a downhillslop?)...thats way way to fast...manufactoryclaim is around 9.5seconds and arguing against that is stupid when you look a power vs weight...a 1450kg car with 155hp will not ever do 7.1sec 0-60 on a straight level road not even with the TTE supercharger it will do such times..infact i hardly get below 8.2sec 0-60 with my supercharged IS200(and i know how to launch a car from a standstill) but i really dont care becuse the car is a fantastic drive and it got enough power where i want it(50-100mph) i live in Borlänge(near Falun):) so thats not close to ystad Martin_80 I did not own a Civic with a turbo..my previous car was a Honda Integra Type R´99 with 208bhp(thats a fast car btw) you must think of Anders ? he owned the Lexus before me.Iám the new owner :P :winky:

monster-mat you are the one talking crap now...even if you use the full rpm range and gears it is still a slow car..why ? 155hp in a car that weights around 1450kg is NOT a fast car,,even when supercharged it is not a fast car but with 205hp from the supercharger it´s quick enough to have fun with and accerlation is more than enough to have the edge over some GTi hatchbacks and such. but the lack of speed does not make it boring at all infact it is a fun car thanks to the fine chassi and handling even when stock 155hp...it is as fast as a 1445kg car can be with 155hp no more no less....supercharging it will make it alot faster but still not at fast car but a very very fun one.

i also have these on my IS200 ,,the ride is very good and equal if not better than standard but with way more handling and yes i have a "clicking" sound when turning and braking so i guess it´s the coilovers making that noise

Dont buy an IS200 if you want speed thats for sure..i got an TTE supercharger in mine and it is still pretty slow..by no means a fast car but way more fun than a standard car. Go for a soarer or a chaser if you want a big "luxury" car to drift

i just bought a new grille , the Altezza one is nice but i drive a Lexus not an Altezza so i will give this one a try...if it looks "naked" i might put a Lexus badge on it

Bensyer I uploaded a pic for you in the first post..enjoy :winky: Valiboi67 Thanks , Integra is the most fun i ever driven, incredible car with a engine to die for...yeah the acceleration is not comparable, at first i thought they were a bit close but i got fooled by the torgue that the IS200 got compared to the Integra. Integra went 6.2 to 0-62mph and i got my IS200 down to around 8.4 and 402m for Integra is about 14.3 and is200 a 15.8 so the is200 dont stand a chance at any speed...weight is a factor yes..Integra weight is 1120kg and it got 208bhp out of it´s 1.8 B) ..Lexus is 1440kg and i guessing it got around 200hp but i did not buy it for it´s speed,,i wanted a nice looking car that are a bit more "easy" to live with(age-factor ) and i got the Type R for 3years so i felt like it was time for a change....very pleased with my Lexus sofar B)
