Burn the cd at a lower speed around 16x that should do the trick... :)

I had the same problem when I put fuel in the needle wouldn't move for about 2 days I managed to get it done under warranty, they replaced the ECU behind the speedo but this also reset the millage.The bill would have come to £950+vat :o

the power lead you are using is it 12volt and not resisted. does you mp3 player light up at all ?
