hello alll; i may be in a bit of cash - soll for a new car! - my car is okay at the Mo. but as you all know the Tax is going up in 2010 and things may go wrong soon....... Also make the most of the 2K scrap offer, anyone got any ideas what car to go for - trying to keep the standard / class of a Lexus... going to test drive a NEW Toyota Avensis also thinking about a 1 - 2 year old Lexus IS220d. from what i have read - the offer of 2K may run out soon...... so time is not with me.

Hello guys - Girlis; i think i will come right into the problem - my car started to mack a clacking sound, what seems to be coming from the back drivers wheel - wheel why, well every time i go over a small bump / whole on the road, the clacking sounds....... i have gone over the wholes slowly and there are no sounds. The question is - has anyone know whats the problem? and does anyone whats the problem.......! So any information would help...... a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL........ :winky:

hello - Guys - steped outside on Saturdays and found my car ariel missing and the base been broken so the screw end no longer attached to the base - :tsktsk: all i said was chill out - its not that bad - could of been a lot more!!! now looking for my options - shark fin - new base - etc - what do you think of this ? Guys - good news car all done and look nice & cool once again - however :shutit: Due to a new head light and fog light covers - the car looks odd from the frount - the other side headlight is yellow and hazed off - before you say all it needs is a clean !!! i can remember some post regarding this matter; but cannot find them...... far as i can remember i need to polish them found some odd forms on the internet today - Brasso - Plexus - and tooth paste...... need confirmation please or a fed on this........please - thx

guys - a quick question please - need to decide between these 2; got to change my headlights and the fog lights - & one dim light is gone. if i buy 2 sets i can use 1 set for the main headlights and the other on the fog lights..... no - thats a good point; i am lucky informed the insurance Co. and got a call from the garage; all booked for 17th march; the only thing was the insurance company informed me it seems to be your fault; i have to point out how much "%" my fault and how much his - i gave them 60% my and 40% his......... okay none would be better - but the Insu wanted me to say 100%....i am going to loose £200.00 access (was my alloys refurb money) have to push that back once again.......

guys - i have had a :tsktsk: day so far; this morning wheel puncher; fine started to change the wheel when "yes you guess it nuts unable to come off" - have to go to car garage and use a GUN; - done. lunchtime - when down the road, with the car check on prices on tyres and check if they needed to change; well decided to do a 3 point turn - move 1 all ok; move 2 backed up ok; as i did the 3rd move a smart-A** decides to squeeze few; and i went into him........OOOOO my god :tsktsk: :tsktsk: - a normal this would be - you dive towards a mini round about and before that round about and a side road a car is in a middle of doing a 3 point turn YOU SLOW DOWN or STOP - okay if i had a drive behind me you would think i was backing up to the drive, BUT no!! i had cars on the pavment....... the other car - what a :tsktsk: day....... my car - okay its not bad - OK - i am fully-con with full bouns BUT :tsktsk:

was thlinking about going to work this morning and remembered the LEXUS a numbers years ago - i have walk home from St Albans to Potters Bar - i just phoned my boss " i am not coming in" - time to chill..... had some fun outside with the kids - also went for a walk with the wife, that ws fun she fell 4 times it was fun!!! be safe

Mate - This is very interesting – I had the same problem with my car a couple years ago; I took it to a number of garages including Lexus; they all came back with the same thing a sensor problem. After a service was done the problem went away for about 2 – 5 weeks then back up again. Let me think now……….it’s been 6-9 months without any problems at the Mo. (hope it stays that way!) All I can say is as long you find out its only the sensor, don’t worry about it –

thats right; the Head comes off - at the present i only take it off when i am at home overnight - my work has a privet carpark away from the public (and i can see my car from my office window) sweet the whole screen comes off - its easy to do and safe. i would say " if you are in the market for a new head" go for and buy this one - @ £350.00 its a steel ! - going to try connecting MP3 / mobile phone to the unit via cable (in the glove box) - this will allow me to play / view files.....well music and pic's / Divx movies. December sounds good; let me see - i will let you know. cho for now. PS loving the Units sound !!!

hello Guys & Girlys - i trust you all had a great weekend; i did YES i dis " " went to my mates house and got my 7" LCD dvd player fitted. It did not take that long, it was only a bit cold, we followed the steps and complated the task.... have a look - great Cool.... just got to play with the settings and set the Pic. - its looking so cool. a big thank to you all for your advise and comments - a big thank you too DJ Wozza :winky:

right the units arrived yesterday all i need to know now is how to disconnect / dismount the LEXUS old head (no Sat Nav) unless i missed something in the links.....(sorry) going to print the steps out and try to understand them before i start doing it - with a mate (i hope so) above are the items i ordered they look cool - the kids can not wait until its all in the car - - cho for now;

just an update - Ordered the facia and bypass from Ebay - also brought the JVC 810 unit from http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product...partno=KWAVX810 its an good price. i can not wait to have all done into my baby Lexus, i've started getting music videos, got 14 so far(FREE). all in AVI - just plug HD to Unit and dance away while driving.... cho for now.
