I dont know this topic is coming up to all of you (Lex) car lovers..... i have been thinking about this for some time on and off. just had a brain wave - well something like that - we all know why PC in the car will be great and its very useful with - MP3 Films Radio and all PC - work.... had a look at all the car PC websites - make your-own PC - ready made ones etc.. sorry to keep you waitting - but - what about a Laptop in the boot - with 2nd Touch Screen on the dash ? the Laptop runing with power from the car Bat. (boot up as soon as car in on) all software required stored in the laptop. Q - will this work ? Q - Can it work ? Q - whats required to work? Q - If posible why has no one done one yet? tidy - thats what i crazy about - love to buy a GPS also tidy comes into mind - option 1 Navman 510 - nice small and will fit into a dash try, option 2 Tomtom go. - nice, dose the job - but too tacky have a look at the Navman its the bizzz. :P

TomTom Go - Nice, dose the job, colour, voice Com, But dose it do anything to Lexus???? Yes it makes it look tackie.....a big rounded thing.... well thats what i think - it dose not do justice in some cars.....ie Lexus,Merc,BMW, and so... It looks good in a Ford-Kia,Fiesta,Cosa, and so on........

why dont you go the Navman ICN510 - its a good system.....and works well in the car and on the move, you can fix to the car or have it in your pokect - and it looks smart.. Okay it cost's a little more ...(£420) but what a system had all good news so far (if not please state)

Right - thanks 7" TFT sounds Great - Tell me, can you flip down the OME lid ( if have one ) ? is it conneted to a DVD player - i am trying to avoid changing the Headunit . i known there are a number of things i can do - GPS - unit in the boot - screen on Dash. DVD & GPS unit in the boot/under seat You may know how easy is it to connect the GPS / DVD sound to the Lexus Head? and pics of your TFT ? Ta. :P

Hi - going to get myself a TFT/GPS along a OME cover for the Centre Dash (Lexus GPS sits) In the pass saw a Member do a motorised lid for his TFT - faild to see what happened to the project... need answers plse. also seen TFT on the Dash on its own - mainly need max size of TFT so it sits inside, once face's flat. any input would be great - you might be saying you sould of got the Lexus GPS with the car - well i bet 100's of members are kicking themself now... a big thanks ... just think about this - what the best gear to overtake? - if you are on 5th/6th stay on the say gear and put the foot down. - drop down to give you a small kick and rev the car to over take - same as above but go up a gear now Auto's - put your foot down - drop to D3/D2 and rev the car if you have any other methods, please state them down.. My best over take - at 50mph droped down to D2 now at 85mph

just some info on petrol and some facts - use Unleaded from Sansburys, long distance - from Potters Bar Herts, London A1 too Edingbough One Tank Full -( 430miles). Also stoped off...more then once..... and did it back, used M6-M1 one tack once again .. thats the most i did with one tank full.....

i meen the wire into the cigarrette lighter....if its pos like to attach wire with other wires from the BAT......so it hides away... have you go any Pic's of ur Neons....and your layout in the car?

Guys - think about puting Neons in the car - want them to come on when doors open ( unlocked ).....turns off when key turns to start car......or car is locked... problem whare to join wires to do this? any idears.... and the right green neons....for F & R....
