Hi agent-dess I been considering 19" wheels to im in the same boat as you I got kids and this missus drives the car more than me.i looked down the 18" avenue as well thinking the ride may be better but I just took the plunge and purchased a second hand set of 19" wheels I'm just awaiting the delivery so I will soon find out

What is the ride like now it's lowered.from previous experience I have lowered other cars ie: peugeot and renaults the ride has been hard and sometimes painful .i now have a family with 3 kids so I don't want to give the car a harsh ride. How much have you lowered yours? And please post before and after pics lol

I to was looking at doing the same on are IS 250 and been looking at 19" wheels but was thinking if I put 19" on will they look out of place and will it look better being lowered and then the drive will be a lot harder and I don't really want to compromise the ride for looks so I been holding back on purchasing wheels and trying to look about for any information

  7. Thanks ollie101258 the lights do go out after ignition is switched off but I still haven't got no obvious signs.if you could please keep me updated on your out come regards Pedro
  8. Just a quick question got the above lights coming on randomly.as soon as the ignition is switched of they go off no obvious problems yet but does anybody no what they could be for before I take it to the garage.

  10. We'll boxbrownie I to bit the bullet found a deal on amazon local £33 for test,regas and disinfect.took it to ATS euromaster and to be fair they sed it was down on gas and oil.so a regas and all is now cool shall I say 100% better

  12. Hi rxjasonrx Yes I have climate control but even when it is set to 'max cold' you can just feel it it's cold then it goes to normal temp
  13. Just a question the aircon is kicking in and out.but it goes cold the back to normal temp then back cold it's up and down is it normal or should I look into a regas thanks in advance

This is the wrap I used eBay item number (261238129595) I also bought a upholstery trim removal kit of eBay item number (400552687790) some basic tools socket set,electric screwdriver.didnt have a guide or couldn't find a guide to remove of the pieces.but with bit of time and patience removed each panel wrapped and replaced with breaking any thing quite easily odutchyo but I do warn you Lexus are very we'll assembled lol

Wrapping DDow is a plastic film which is sticky on the one side I bought it of eBay £10 ish and basically took all the wood trim off and stuck the wrap on each individual piece using a hair dryer and a old credit card.to look at it now it took a bit of time roughly a full day but it is rewarding.
  16. You are right box brownie it just comes down to personal preference but to myself and the wife who is the most important person (if she reads this) brushed aluminium I think just gives the interior a more modern feel
  17. Just seen this topic as we have just bought a rx 300 and we to didn't like the wood trim.so I have managed to get all my wood trim off and wrap it myself bit tedious but worth it

I bought my HID kit from eBay just over 2 years ago you do have to drill the access caps on rear of headlight but there was with mine a rubber like bung on the cables to fit in hole.so far no moisture has got In and they look amazing.as far as the mot this year I took them out as if yours are just standard headlights and not fitted with oem xenons they will fail the MOT as we'll

Hi all not new to the forum but this is my first post.been told by a local company that they can do a remap on my is220 looked around on here and internet can't find no proof this is possible.if it's poss has anybody had any experience on it does put any strain or stress on the engine is it worth the money.sorry if it been previously covered but can't see it on here
  20. hi all im quite new to this so forgive me if im thick or asking a really dull reoccurring question but i have just purchased a IS220 and i love it but i can help notice this noise coming from it when its in motion it like a whistling howling type of noise i just hope it aint serious and its a common problem and that someone can put me out of my misery cheers
