Think mine's got the same, i was listening to it yesterday when i was checking my tyre pressure and it's definetely ticking from somewhere! hope that's not gonne cost me a fortune again, already have had to buy new tyres this week cause i had a flat last weekend! ah well atleast I've noticed the petrol consumption's gone down again now i've had my brakes fixed.. :) -
Welcome to the club! man you're one lucky guy, that's what i call a bargain! if you spend some money on fixing the problems you're having you'll still have a great car for a £1000 or so! you'll be making a nice profit selling it!! :D whats your secret eh!? I always seem to do it the other way round, buy one at a high price cause i think itll be good, find out it's crap and spend a fortune on fixing it, then only to find i cant afford it any longer and having to sell it at a loss!

argh, forgot my hobbies! cycling, driving, playing games, wasting ages on my pc, going on holidays, friends, reading about anything, and of course my biggest hobby, my girlfriend! :) used to program a bit in MSX-DOS back in the day, never got as far as COBOL though!

real name Michel (28), work for Unilever Global Infrastructure Organisation as a lowly phone answerer on the IT helpdesk, wishing I was something Senior so i could spend loadsa money on modding my car! Spend nothing on my '91 LS400 so far, only a mere £360 on keeping it on the road! :duh: gf (Vicky) works for IBM in manchester, she doesnt even have a license, let alone a car! no kids (yet), and I live in the beautiful idylic village of Runcorn....

I believe it was the germans that set this as a limit to their cars to prevent them from getting into a "my car goes faster than yours" competition.. I think they were afraid that people wouldnt' be able to control 600 bhp saloons that do 300+kph... I wonder why? So instead they're now in a bhp and 0-60 race, which is just fine with me! If only I could afford a Jag XJR.... :(

'89 Jag XJ6 2.9 in Burgundy, bought it in january 2000 for £1500! awfull car, no acceleration whatsoever, parts kept dropping off left, right and centre!! ... but hey it was still better then the 2nd one...

.... at 211 pounds and an estimated .75 bhp I should be able to do the quarter mile in ... 38 seconds! still a little optimistic i think, maybe i need to take a sip of Los's NoS first! :D

An IS in diesel for 2004..... Can someone translate It just says that there was rumours they're considering one or more diesel engined version, which should come out end of 2004, and would also be introduced in the Camry. The dealers said they werent aware of anything.... I bet you all cant wait now! then you can bang all your NoS and supercharger systems on a diesel, smoke away everyone at the traffic lights and still get 20mpg!
