Heading towards liverpool sat in traffic on the M6 or 62 or whatever it is! (not very good with road names) around jct 17 on sunday the 20th of june. There had been a big smash involving 2 bikes, people must have been waiting for a while as they were all sat on deck chairs and the likes n the motorway. I was heading the other way but damn rubberneckers brought traffic to a standstill for us aswell.

Ok then, when you look at an IS200, you see a pretty meaty and mean looking car. So why the hell did lexus decide to put the "gayest" sound horn on it that they could find! and to be honest it embarassing hehe Are new horns easy enough to fit and are they all a pretty standard thing?

Ok then i am a spark so basically the extract fan sounds like it is 12v or 24v you should "check first" though. if it is either of those voltages you will need a transformer if there is not one already built in. If it is 230v you should just take a live and neutral from a light fitting and connect through in a joint box or a spur. About the lights going off with the steam i would just check that all connections are tight firstly and if that dont do it, it could possibly be the switch but it sounds abit weird to me, is it just the bathroom lights that go off? where abouts are you by the way? i have never come across a 24v fan for household use nor a fan with the transformer built in, that would kind of defeat the object would it not ? Bazza, you can get 24v dc fans for domestic they are just not commonly used. just thought it be best to suggest everything, and about the built in transformer, i believe you are right. it will need a separate transformer if it is low voltage. Also, idealy it should have a switch fused spur as a point of isolation.

I would be very very very surprised if they would fit. physically because they may rub on your arches but just think how much they will affect your speedometer aswell, you would need tyres with a profile of nearly nothing to make them ok, also you have the offset to think about. however i have to say i reckon it would look awesome with 20s on.

Hi mate welcome to the club! This might sound silly but have you lifted the back plastic moulding up to try and fit the spare wheel in (it goes underneath). As with the err3 code, from what i have read, alot of people have had it and there are a few articles on here about it. I live in nottingham aswell mate, so if you see a 03 reg silver is200 with black wheels and red lexus logos give us a wave! Ill keep any eye out for you! p.s i had my wheels powdercoated at total wheel works and they did a top job. Great value!

I assume yours are painted, not powder coated? It said that powder coating is superior to regular paint job :) They are powder coated (paint job was all i could think of at the time) and yes powder coating is much better than a standard paint as its much tougher i think! Sorry for the confusion lol

Total wheel works in nottingham did all 5 of mine for £150. im pretty sure they do refurbs, but why would you want that when you can get a complete new paint job. Brilliant finish aswell, top guys! www.totalwheelworks.com Only took them 3-4 days if i remember correctly.

Ive had exactly the same problem twice (once each side front). The mechanic who did mine would rather get refurbished ones, purely because of the price. However lexus calipers are quite rare parts to come by. If they havent been rubbing long then the discs should be fine, so you could just get a new seal kit and refurb them yourself. I have a spare caliper myself so thats what ill be doing. Last time I had one seize i had to source a used replacement which cost £65 from a dismantlers. P.s I am no mechanic just speaking from personal experience

I am thinking about going to WIM to get my geometry done, but just wondered if I will notice a big (or noticeable) difference just with having a standard suspension setup as is? By the way I havent noticed any of the strange tyre wear that people have talked about with the standard lexus settings. Cheers
