  2. Hello, anyone from the Edinburgh area going to the Kelso Bike show next month, 11th and 12th July? I'm planning riding down one day, could meet up ride down together if anyone else thinking of riding down.
  3. I'm still offshore or I would have come along...
  4. I'm offshore at the moment, 2 weeks to go, or I'd have been there. Tires are still quite new, and would be good to keep them for a wee while longer. Easy for me i'm just 10 mins round the by-pass. I'll look to go another time, but sounds like he's the place for us. Do you know if the setings are the same from all the IS200's? I've a funny feeling they alter a bit with the year. I'm a '99 IS200 Sport.
  5. I broke mine recently, and I'm pretty sure it was more that £25 new for the whole thing from Lexus. Hopefully Stav is right, but when I was looking for mine I'm sure I found a post saying it was £100 plus, see below http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...1&hl=aerial I got a replacement from the States, see eBay # 300312019524 Just checked for you, they have another two up for "buy it now" or offer See # 360159949048. I got mine for $65, plus $23 for postage, but I reckon a lower offer might win it too. Good Luck
  6. well thats a good idea. could everyone put there name and place they stay down in a list as follows 1.Asi(fife) 2.Dave1986(fife) 3.Ormi(Edinburgh) 4. Dajcksc (Edinburgh) 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  7. I'll be up for it, if I am at home. I work offshore on a regular 3 on 3 off rotation. Live in Edinburgh. Due home on the 8th July for 3 weeks although I do have a few things planned nothing too fixed in Stone. T in the Park would be a good meet, but not very realistic.
  8. Anyone who has a DVD sat nav, there is a disk for sale on eBay if you need one. Price OK at present, ends tomorrow evening. eBay Number 290324549665
  9. Seem Fine Ormi, not done many miles, but nice and smooth and nice and quiet so far.
  10. I'd recommend you go to Toyota at Cameron Toll, if you send a message to Ormi a LOC member he'll probably look after you. He works there as an MOT tester, and has done some work for me both at the Garage and in the evenings. Lexus Edinburgh are good also, but you will pay a bit more.
  11. I just bought a set of Mintex Front Discs and Pads off eBay. Look to be pretty good, but not fitted yet. Here's the link to what I bought. Delivery was super quick, less than 24 hours! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=260121808882
  12. I'm in Qatar on holiday at the moment, and being an Arab country, it's a pig free zone, so i'll be all right. Anyway bed time for me, can't wait for breakfast - coffee toast eggs and 4 rashers, yum, yum
  13. I have used Thistle on Easter Road for this 60k service and also Timing Belt and all oils done at the same time, however it might be worth contacting "ormi" a fellow LOC member who might be able to offer you help advice. He's a motor mechanic at Toyota in Edinburgh and drives an IS200, too. Hope you get something sorted. Dave
  14. Thanks for the info Rogue, will use that as a backup plan, depending what the scrappies ask for one, cheers. Handwashing from now on I reckon.
  15. Yeah...Yeah...I was expecting that......but was having a lazy moment...DOH!
  16. Just got the car washed, using a different car wash, and the bl :tsktsk: dy thing ripped off my bee-sting and also broke the mount! Could of been worse at least the thing stayed attached by the wire and didn't wreck the paintwork by getting stuck in the brushes. Need to get it replaced now, does anyone have a standard mount, and any tips on getting the trim off to replace it? Any ideas welcome, thanks. Dave
  17. Hello Guys, I'm looking for any tips on how to change my rear discs and pads. Got some new ones off eBay and now getting ready to fit them and would appreciate an idiots guide! I've had a look around the Forums but can't see any tips. Cheers in advance. Dave
  18. Interested too. Clock trim and Rings. Dave...Edinburgh
