If its the 3 button one you have it SHOULD be the master, good luck with the "pedal dance" also involves some door switch flicking if i remember right.

everyone makes mistakes mate, i didnt have AA or rac, was going to drill door lock and then one of sons "friends" got in it with 2 bits of copper wire, one to hook keys with and other to press button on fob.

Before you think of swapping has the lexus got any service history and when was cambelt last changed? I personally had a vectra before owning lexus and would never go back. Yes the economy isnt that good but the car itself makes up for it, although last year took wife to tunbridge wells and back and i managed 40mpg according to online mpg calculator. So far all mines cost me is a set of discs and a service, surprisingly the discs and pads were cheaper for the lex than the 2.0 vectra.

Had some half leathers on e-bay for £50, Bear in mind add clearly stated front and back seats only. 1. would you split front seats.....err no at £50 bargain anyway. 2. is the carpet and trims included? no add states seats only. 3. Are you going to accept £30 its all ive got in paypal???? save more pennies then. 4. Can you bring them to me cos i need help fitting them....... and the all time classic... Will they fit a 2 door ford escort? and give enough clearance cos he still needs to get in back seats???

Cant fault you with the diesel economy, Not meaning to insult your car but the lexus has all the comfort and gizmos you dont get with a vauxhall. As said compare the drive yourself before you decide, also before you make your mind up ask when cambelt was done, make sure front calipers move freely and not binding, check for clunking on suspension. Good luck.You have to do what feels right to you.

Mate id swap in a heart beat, came from a vectra to an is200 and they are in a different class. Admittedly mine was a vec b not a c. I hate the vectra c with a passion, boring bland looking barges with a nondescript interior. Try the lexus for an hour and you wont want the vauxhall back i assure you.
