    it depends on market probably but 90% of IS200/300 have mirror heater constantly on when car is running. This is the firs time I see mirror button in I gen IS dash

    If you want SC for your 200... Buy the whole supercharged car (they go around 4000+ EUR for automatic). Swap it to your car, sell the automatic one for 3000 EUR (or maybe 3500, depends on market) 1000 eur for SC and all whats needed

    I have this problem right now. I´ll have two weeks vacation in mid september and then I planned to deal with it. Its not that loud squeak like in this video. Its more like constant sshahh-sshahh-sshahh. Amplitude depend on speed. It appears specially when cornering and is heard only when window is open and best when sound can bounce back from something (from some house or some wall near to car). There was an excellent description and step-by-step tutorial to solve this problem in my.is forums. Have no time to look for it right now. Maybe later this evening...

    whining noise comes from the rear and it increases when you are turning. Problem is that rear dust cover have kind of inner edge which covers hub from dust and dirt. At one point either some small rock is exactly stuck between this inner edge and bed on disc or somehow (during bearing change for example) discs become too close to hub and this inner edge rubs to its bed. Cure: remove discs, inspect inner edge and bed for wear. Grind down some micrometers of inner edge and clean bed. reinstall and whine is gone.

    why not buy 2JZ out of GS300 from breakers yard and drop it in with gearbox and ECU. Its a direct bolt on, costs some hundred EUR and you´ll get 220hp instantly

    CD unit went bad, seatbelt issue and no cupholders. Beige alcantara wears out after wet cleaning. (I have US IS300) Some cure for you boys: Swap your rear diff to IS300 rear unit. EU spec IS300 has 3.38 final drive (IS200 has 4.10). You´ll drop around 6-700 rpm. Save fuel on highway but dowside is it will get slower. US IS300 has 3.90 final drive and it is 1.1 sec quicker from 0-60 compared to EU spec IS300.

    they are missing those rubber inserts. Maybe you are able to find good set from some IS200 Sport.

    Local Lexus dealer quoted me OEM 2 DIN fascia 82 EUR. It is with the same texture and color as this original headunit. Price is about the same range as those aftermarket parts.

    you can remove ONLY that part wich is above glovebox and gauge cluster also. Otherwise it´s just one piece of dashboard.

    In US they are getting 320-420 miles per tank. Depending on driving habits and conditions. Oh, and there were manual IS300´s, but not with RHD

    140 UER /year. a bit steep. I used to pay 75 EUR/ year with my Honda
