  1. Alan - 28 y/o I.T. monkey working in Chesham. Live in Harrow, NW London and have only had my IS200 Sport for 2 days so I'm well chuffed with it. :D Single at the moment but that's probably a good thing as I'm constantly skint! :D
  2. Wrong on all accounts - Astral Black! It's a W reg (2000) but it's got 90k on the mileage hence the low price. The paintwork is spotless and even though it's blatantly been used as a company car, it's pristine on the outside as well as the inside. Alloys had some wear but tyres were very good with almost full tread. No Sat Nav but I'm not too fussed! :D
  3. At last... I will be picking up my IS200 Sport tomorrow. Ok, so it's 2nd hand but for 10k, I'm not complaining! :D
  4. Your best bet is to download Kazaa Lite and use that to look for mp3s. www.kazaalite.nl
  5. Cheers for all the info guys! Sat Nav isn't a pre-requisite (but it would be nice to have) so I'd probably favour a slightly more expensive bog standard IS200 rather than a cheaper but more mileage Sport.
  6. Have you got the Sat Nav system on yours then? How is it compared to standalone systems? I thought they would be reliable - my younger brother has a BMW 328i convertible with M3 bodykit and my dad a CLK 200. I just fancied something that wasn't German having driven nothing but VW Golfs so I thought I'd treat myself this time. Cheers for the info... I'll let you know what happens! :D
  7. Hi all, Having lost my beloved Golf to a road accident, I now have my eyes set on a Lexus IS200 Sport. I'll be honest though - I can't afford to buy a brand new one and the 2nd hand market for these cars looks very tempting. It looks like the price I'll have to pay for one of these beauties will range from 10k and above. I can afford to spend probably £12-13k max but want to know if it's worthwhile buying one with high mileage (80k and up). I know most of these would have been used as company cars so they have probably been driven quite hard. Should I spend less to get a car with more features or bite the bullet and spend more to get a lower mileage car? Comments would be most appreciated! :D
