Damn shame but... you gotta laugh! :D Had a friend who was on his Piaggio scooter with his girlfriend when he came across a very recent smash; Boxter wrapped around a lampost after taking a corner too quickly. Owner was on mobile, unhurt but quietly fuming! Some people just aren't supposed to drive cars that go that fast!

Before anyone starts saying 'I'll sort him out', we need to take a look from this guys perspective. Perhaps he's frustrated with his own job and feels the need to take it out on people beneath him. Maybe his wife isn't giving him any at home and is jealous of his younger, more virile underlings? :D Seriously though - make sure you know who you're dealing with as well. He could be a nasty piece of work!

Are you sure they are putting the phone down on you? Some companies when they call, utilise a system where their phone system rings you, you pick up, but then hear nothing on the other end - this is because it's waiting for an available analyst/person to take the call and then give you the usual schpiel.

Celebs who live in my town? Oh dear... Claire Rayner and Bob Holness. I believe Barry Cryer has been spotted around too. Seen Chris Eubank in Brighton driving along in his rig. Fatboy Slim shopping with Zoe Ball in the Laines. Davina McCall - she was ace! Very down to earth and always up for a laugh.

Ah... I went to a photo exhibition for The Clash at a gallery in Camden where I saw Joe Strummer and Mick Jones. Even had a quick chat with Joe. Very down to earth, top bloke indeed - R.I.P.

Heh... just remembered - bumped into that guy who plays Jim Branning off Eastenders on Brentford High Street. I was waiting behind him at a cashpoint. He probably thought I was going to mug him! :D

My younger bro texted me today and said that Supracharged-IS340 came into his work today to renew his car parking permit. He was a little star struck but didn't go ga-ga and ask for an autograph! Which brings on the question - have any of you guys met anyone famous? I once served Jonathan Ross when I was working in a London games shop, but I guess that pales into comparison to being about 3 feet away from Hilary Clinton when she was doing the rounds at Covent Garden a few years back - I remember all the FBI suits with their black gloves, shades and earpieces all over the place!

Mike, I'm heading off to this place once I get a few days off work to get mine redone. £45 a wheel and it usually takes just a day if that. A10 Carwash Ltd Not mobile but they're based in Cheshunt. They do refurbs and can also colour your wheels too.

Well, it looks like the bulb was not pushed in fully as after I reseated it, the (!) light hasn't come on at all. I thought the rear light warning was the only light that came on if any of the rear clusters were failing? Strange!
