    I HAVE A 2000 PLATE IS200. WILL CHANGING THE HEATER UNIT SOLVE THE LACK OF HOT AIR GOING INTO THE O/S OF THE VEHICLE.? OR ARE THE DIRCTION FLAPS SEPERATE FROM THE ACTUAL HEATER/UNIT?

    yes thats it exactly it just does not feel as hot as other cars i,ve had its warm but not hot should the heater in the is200 be hot?

    yes i had a new pump fitted when the timing belt was done in november

    I AM HAVING A SIMILAR HEATER PROBLEM TEMP GAUGE IS OK [READING JUST UNDER HALF WHEN RUNNING] BUT THE AIR IN FLOW IS QUITE WARM BUT NOT REALLY HOT. DONE ALL THE USUAL THINGS LIKE FLUSHING THE HEATER MATRIX, NEW THERMOSTATE . ANY THING ELSE I CAN TRY??

    hi everybody can someone help me with a problem i,am having with the heater on my Xreg is200? when the engine is at running temp both heater pipes in the engine bay are hot but the air blowing inside the cab is only warmish i,ve flushed the heater matrix and its still the same also tried another heater contol switch to no avail where do i go from here? cheers phil

    DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE PROJETOR HEADLAMPS BEFORE YOU CAN FIT THE LED CONVERSION KIT TO AN IS200 IVE BEEN TOLD ITS ADVISABLE SO YOU DONT DAZZL;E ON COMING DRIVERS ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED

    problem solved for some reason i cleaned the throttle body again today and she is back to her best cant explain why a second cleaning solved the promblem thanks to every one that contributed to the topic nice to know some people will take the time to help thank you once again

    no warning lights on at all and yes i,ve given the throttle body a good blast with the recommended cleaner

    if you mean the air filter then yes that has been changed by intake pipe do you mean the intake on the throttle control if so i,ve also done a check on any air leaks by spraying arond the inlet manifold and there is no increase or decrease with the engine revs

    no clutch is fine also i,ve changed the coils & spark plugs last week

    can anyone help me with this problem i have a X plate is200 and at the moment i have a fault me lack of performance in fourth gear i cannot rev over 5000 rpm and on a steep slope in second gear she hesitates to pull and just seems to struggle to pull if someone can give me any advice i would be very greatful
