    Obviously im going blind in my old age... I have just had someone step on the brake pedal and the passenger side brake light does not work... the drivers side is fine and the spoiler light is fine as well. What bulb do i need for a brake light and is it a simple process to replace it? cheers people ;-)

    Ah I see... Mine is different, mine is the rear bulb failure.. All lights seem to be working though but I haven't checked the parcel shelf one as I didn't know it existed. Anyone know what bulb goes in there?

    Yeah that's what I thought.. All the exterior lights seem fine, so what else is there to check... Other than the light on the parcel shelf? I didn't even know there was one as I have the spoiler with brake light in it..

    Cheers Chris.. The one in the picture is a 330CI, 2003 with full service history and 100k on the clock.. I'd only biy one with FSH like my Lexus..

    Is yours the handbrake light (the red one) or bulb replacement light? Mines is the orange car with lines coming out of the back, seen here next to the battery light.

    So the light has been on for the last couple of days, the rear light failure. The brake lights are all working fine and the light only comes on once I press the brake pedal. I've seen people mention the third brake light behind the rear screen, I've got a boot spoiler with the brake light in so would the brake light behind the screen still be active, I didn't even know there was a light there.

    I do like the look of the car.. Are they unreliable then or just expensive all the time? So far in 18 months of having my lexus I've serviced it and had an MOT but nothing has gone wrong that all. Touch wood ;-)

    Doesn't matter if its petrol or diesel. The VW wouldn't be for me, comfort is good and I'd like it to look aggressive, sporty as such. I suppose that's what appeals in the IS200, looks good, comfortable and bang for you buck.

    I do like the look of the BMW 330CI, specifically the Ci... But to be honest i dont have a massive reason to change, i get bored easily in general so maybe thats it.. Maybe ill wrap my IS200 in orange or something for fun lol

    Afternoon people... Ive been thinking of changing cars over the last few weeks... i do love my IS200 but i'm also never happy ;-) I was looking at possibly getting a BMW 330CI or something similar, it would be an 03-04 or so... money dependant... Has anyone here had one, any advice... would it be worth moving to a BMW or staying with my Lexus? As you can see from the pic, shes a lovely car ;-)

    Do you know what the make and model of the Head Unit is Chris?

    Definitely get one with Service History... I bought mine just over a year ago and it had a full service history including stamps and loads of receipts for service parts and things here and there... I havent had any problems with it at all (touch wood) i've just serviced it, only oil, air filter and oil filter, then had an MOT done, it passed with ease and the fella said it looks like its been looked after, the car will outlive me lol....

    Ivey decided against the head unit... I'm going to put a nexus 7 or Decent 7" android tablet in the car, I'm going to put it under the current stereo so the gps and music will stream via Bluetooth. The screen and everything it does is ten times better than a head unit and all for like a ton ;)

    Gave the sensors a clean and a wipe earlier and the auto lights are working again... Off when light and on when dark or at the moment hammering down with rain... Thanks people ;)

    I have no idea if it's been changed before.... All I can say is all the glass in the car has a lexus logo except the windscreen...

    Nope... Is that what the two small domes are to the right of the steering wheel on the dash? There is nothing over those...

    Ok... So I've had the lexus fir 12 months and always had it on the auto lights setting, it gets dark, they come on job done... Last couple of days I've started her up and the lights come on straight away even when it's daytime... Obviously I can turn them off if I want. Anyone got any ideas why they just seem to come on all the time now regardless of light ;)
