Im looking at changing my aftermarket normal Sony mp3 player for a touchscreen head unit. Im assuming a 7" screen would be the perfect fit. Could anyone recommend a decent one, possibly with a detachable face so its not an invite for the unwanted ;-) Cheers people.

I was just wondering what people think my Lexus IS200 auto would be worth or what they think either they or someone would pay for it. 2001 Model. 125,000 miles. FSH, all stamps, all old MOTS and receipts. Factory fitted kit Factory fitted 18" wheels. black leather and suede inside. full 12 month MOT The car is in mint condition, not a thing wrong with it.... im never selling it because i love it but just wondering what people think?

This is a picture of my Lexus IS200 from the front... im about to change the interior light for a green LED, hoping it will look good at night... then i ma do the number plate one too.

Ha ha... some of the people on here have been a great help, simple mods for me... something I don't need a degree i n engineering to do. Plug a bulb in the interior light sound simple enough... ;-)

Thank mate, I can only find those panels in white or blue.. I want green now Lol Not sure whether to get an led bulb thats green or opt for one of those panels. Do you mean the main interior light that comes on when you unlock the car. Is it just a case of swapping bulbs? Seen a green LED on eBay that would look pretty good with my green IS200 ;-)

This is my Lexus is200 auto i picked up 3 weeks ago... i got this for £1400, totally mint, everything factory fitted, interior is also mint and black leather and suede... i think it was a bargain ;-)

No im just getting a new case with a blade, ill swap the transponder from my existing broken case and get the blank key cut to fit the car.

Thanks for the replies people... Just called my local Timpsons, the fella said he can cut it but cant guarantee it because he wouldn't be supplying the blade. If it didn't work id have to get a new blade.....

Is there any reason you can't just swap the existing blade instead of getting a new one? Cheers for the answers people

I have only one key which is a valet key, taking it out of the ignition today and the plastic casing has cracked. Can I just buy a replacement from eBay and put the blade and guts into the new casing? Can anyone tell me if its a simple.thing or does it require some magical expensive tooling. Thanks

The alloys on my IS200 are not black they are a kind of graphite browny colour... i have a couple of small marks on one, looking for a touch up pen but cant seem to find the colour. anyone got any ideas, they are Lexus wheels..

The pedal seemed to stay pressed down and the car carried on speeding up, this was done over a very short space of time as there were cars in front of me at traffic lights. I think it may be the mat, it hasnt done it since and on inspection the floor seems to have two holes to clip in the mats but the mats only have one hole which doesnt even line up properly. I think ill just check the mat is pulled back nicely before setting off and then getting new mats, best place to buy some mats other than ebay?

Ok so went to a local Supermarket today and had a slightly horrific experience. i stopped at a crossing and after it was safe to go i put my foot down a bit, the problem is the pedal seemed to get stuck and it just kept going into traffic at some lights. i of course put my foot on the brake but it seemed really hard to push and only just stopped me, it seemed like the car had a ghost in it. its an IS200 auto, 2001... i had to stop it and turn the ignition off and start it again. i dont know if it was the mats that caused this or not.. if the pedal was stuck because of them would that make the brake pedal hard to push? any advice would be appreciated, i dont want to smash the car or in fact hurt myself or anyone else... it scared the ***** out of me lol cheers John

Ive just got my first is200 and im in love lol. The standard stereo has been replaced with a standard bluetooth Sony stereo. Around the edges though you can see the metal cage, just about so i guess its missing the Fascia. Anyone advise what they should cost and is it just a bit of plastic to go arouond the stereo. cheers

Yeah thanks for the advice people, i see what you mean by tiny hands though, being a big fella mine are definitely not lol.... i just pushed all the connectors on really hard and the light came on so hopefully thats that. ;-)

Ill try at lunch to swap the bulb from the right headlight to the left to see.... are they easy to remove? cheers.
