  3. I was thinking about buying a Suzuki SJ or Samurai for the winter. I found one on Auto-Trader for £250.00 needs some welding to get it MOT'd. I will stick it out with the IS.
  4. Up here in Aberdeen its the worst I have seen in a long time. I am very suprised by my IS200 Sport. If you take your time the car is very good in the snow. Well the snow is on again and that the 4 time this morning. How bad is the snow with you?

  8. I am trying to organise a meeting for Lexus owners up in the Aberdeen area. I can't manage to go to the Scotland meet, because I play football every Saturday.   9. I used Meguiars and you can see the results here My Post. I used the following, Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo/Conditioner, Hot Rims & Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax. I also bought a meguiars shammy. As you will see from my picture the results are magic.
  10. Sorry I forgot to ask. How long did it take you to paint them all (paint drying etc). I am going to speak to my mate, who works in a Garage and ask if I could use his ramp 1 weekend.
  11. I am after some advise. I want to paint my brake calipers & hubs but I don't know what colour would look best. I have a IS200 Sport Plat Silver (see pic). I was thinking red or black. If you have a IS200 what colour did you paint yours.

  14. Today I went mental and cleaned my car. I used Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo/Conditioner, Hot Rims & Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax. I popped down to Argos and bought myself a car polisher for £13.99. It took me about 1-2 hours to do but well worth it. The car looks like it just came out of the showroom.
  15. You should check this website TyreTest I recently bought 4 new tyres for my Lexus and I was going to buy the Toyo's myself. The tyre place told me they wear very very quick and he advised me to buy Hankook's Ventus Sport K104.   16. Just back from the garage. He moved the back wheels to the front and front to back. He also re-balanced all the wheels and it's cured. Mechanic has no idea what it could have been. Thanks for all your help.
  17. The wheels came with hub-centric ring. The nuts came with the wheels also. Do you think I should check the tracking??
