  1. What brakes are you using stu . Mine is the same , initial bite is light etc . Wierd .
  2. I'm not even going to look at mine ha bet it's the same .anyway what you doing driving looking at your steering wheel , look ahead ha .Good luck let us know the outcome mate .
  3. Stu if the car has been tracked in the past it's possible they didn't lock the steering wheel bang on centre when they tracked it , easy fix I don't think it will be anything other than get it re tracked with the steer wheel Central mate .
  4. Yeh I agree that's why they repaired my stereo on my last is250 and scratched the console when they took it out .fully trained eh .That's why when I dolled my isf my battery was loose , wheels the wrong way around , tyre pressures all over the place , air filter not cleaned out , fully trained eh . Two different dealers . I'll get my coat .
  5. One thing that annoys me is Lexus say they have highly trained technicians etc , that's bull too because it's just a normal mechanics job that anyone puts in for .theres nowt technical about changing oil etc . We pay for a stupid stamp .
  6. My local Lexus dealer is joined onto the toyota showroom so they both use the same workshop ha. Use the toyota one mate , same parts and good saving , if my isf had a full history with toyota stamps it wouldn't bother me because like many have said there the same . I think Lexus service is bollocks any way ,rip off alley but that's my views .
  7. I think the best sound about the isf is if you accelerate at a medium pace and listen to the noise just between normal revs and when the secondary air intake starts to open , that noise tells you something special is going to happen and it does .awesome .
  8. Ha use lost the plot stu . Well maybe not they sound sooo good .
  9. My best was just under 28 mpg at 80 mph for 3 hrs . I do know that bp fuels and shell do give better mpg than tesco ,asda fuels etc but I use asda so I'm happy with that .i had a brand new is250 advance I traded in for my isf and that only done just under 30 mpg at best so can't complain with my isf .
  10. It's a shame all we are paying for is a stupid Lexus stamp .the mechanics are no different to the back street garage ,we get a nice courtesy car a cup of coffee that's vile and keeps you awake all night and a huge bill at the end that takes just over an hour to do a service , what bull dealers are but for some reason we have to get that bloody stamp to keep the resale value up .really cheeses me off .i serviced my van yesterday , took me an hour , full service and cost a total of 60 quid even with shell oil . It's as sweet as a nut . And I know it's been done right and I know what parts have been used .
  11. Hi mate all I know is it costs around 800 quid, they change the plugs, oil, filter ,supposed to check valve clearances but I could put money on they don't and prob wouldn't even know how to anyway .not a cheap service by any means .but don't let it put you off buying ,after that service it's 300 ish .they don't change any belts at 60,000 miles either . Good luck
  12. I don't have a problem atal with the is models , I've two teenagers , been on long trips etc no problem or complaints . Boot space is good so happy all round .
  13. Lexus should have made a faster option version of the ct . I had an f sport ct for a couple of days . Looked brill but drove awful . What a underpowered car ,such a shame .its just not a sport . I drove the new is300 h . F sport Same again , looks brill but just not powerfull enough . I love the 250 but same again too flat when I needed to overtake . I've heard there's a new coupe coming out. Unless it has a v8 I can't see it being very quick unless it has a turbo etc .
  14. Castrol edge is the best I think . I've always used that
  15. I think the isf will be very very sought after in years to come and wouldn't surprise me if older older ones in mint condition pull 20 k plus ,I'm nearly sure this will happen , if there not going to make any more then it will happen .
  16. The jag does look the part though , a bit too big of a car I think , the isf is more compact .
  17. I was in Edinburgh at Xmas . Was very nice .never seen any isf s ha you lot must have them locked away .
  18. I would have a 6.2 merc , there gorgeous but very expensive .i do like them as much as the isf if not more , as for bmw no chance there sh-t
  19. You wanna live whereI am there's none atall . Hardly anyone knows what one is either lol
  20. The old is had this problem , normally goes away when your lights are used but comes back when there off etc . May need the headlamp took out and took apart and resealed.crap job but will cure it .
