  1. That workshop looks similiar to the new one, in Edinburgh. £3m investment by Lexus Edinburgh. The Scottish meeting today (6 Mar), got a tour around it. Huge place!
  2. Yeah, but it still sounds like a Mini Clubman. :winky: I still think my Lex was better! LOL
  3. Well I think the meeting was a great success. It was good meeting all the members of LOC, and there was a good turn out. I'd just like to thank Ian and his staff @ Lexus Edinburgh, for the tour and the great hospitality. Thanks Ian. Below are a few pics that I took... (I'm sure BESTY took a few pics too, so they'll probably follow soon. Anyway, thanks again guys, and here's to the next Scottish Meeting. :) BESTY's Engine Bay Line up of IS200's Scooby's IS200 Jock's IS200 Sport BESTY's Mini Clubman Sport :winky: Rich200's IS200 Showroom Alloy Wheels Showroom IS200 in new colour Red Showroom Lexus IS300 IS300 Company Car Various IS200's Sorry John, I forgot to take a pic of your VengaBus :winky:
  4. See you all there. Meet time is 1pm :winky:
  5. I sold my Scooby a couple of months ago. First thing I did when I bought it though, was get rid of the crappy gold alloys for 18" Silver alloys. I hate gold alloys... I think they look cheap.
  6. I'll definately have one of those... Thanks :)
  7. The weekend is nearly here! WOO HOO! See all of you tomorrow at the meet
  8. The more the merrier. So... 1pm it is then :winky: I'll be there approx 12:30pm to have a quick look at your current IS200's for sale. Not that I'm gonna buy one, as my wife would kick my :tsktsk: Anyway, looking forward to my first meeting. C'ya all there :) P.S. I'll bring my digital camera with me, and take loads of pics for LOC.

    Loc Calendar

Steve, do you want me to collect pics for the year then?
  15. Looks a bit OTT for me. Not bad though :) Maz will like it and so will Zee :zee:
  16. Just looked at the ad on eBay. I must admit, it looks the part Very nice :)
  17. 180,000 miles ???? Bloody Hell!!! Where has it been? The Moon and back!! I have an articualted lorry unit that has done 360,000 miles, but that's because it goes from Glasgow to Birmingham every night. Has this guy had it long? If so, ask him why the high mileage. If not, ask him why he's punting it? Personally mate, I wouldn't buy any car with so many miles on the clock. If you're really eager on a GS300 Sport, can't you just up your budget a little and get a lower mileage example. It'd save you money in the long run. Well, that's my tuppence worth anyway :winky:
  18. Very nice mate Only 2 probs... I have Sat Nav and I don't have a PDA :D
  19. It looks like this number is confirmed B) ok Ian ?

  21. Slick 50 is brilliant product mate and would do what you want, and you can get it in Ripspeed / Halfords etc... Slick 50 Website I wouldn't touch any of the crap on Sky/Cable

    Loc Calendar

Yeah mate, but as I said above... That way we could capture all the seasons of the year. i.e. A pic like Scorpions entry for 2004 would cover Autumn (September (ish)
  23. As I missed the chance to get my IS on the 2004 Calendar... When will admin/moderators be taking entries for the 2005 Calendar? Even although I still bought the 2004 LOC Calendar, I thought maybe it'd be a good idea to start taking photo's now so we can capture all the seasons throughout the year? I know that Steve & Matthew are both busy, so I could collect all members entries and forward them on to whoever makes the calendar near the end of the year. I think also, that all photo's should be of a resolution of 1024x768 or higher to enable good quality pics for every month of the year. If this is acceptable with Steve / Matthew etc... I will post an e-mail address here for sending entries to. What do you think, it's just an idea?
