  1. I wouldn't like to say to be honest, I'd call round a few places and get quotes. I doubt it'd be more than what you'd pay for a pair of second hand seats if you could even find a matching pair in good condition! Where abouts are you?
  2. No problem David, if it was me I'd have the centres redone in Alcantara will be about the same price as a full cloth retrim but look a load better. Alcantara has the advantages of both cloth and leather
  3. Almost every Lexus made has had leather with the exception of Alcantara on some models and cloth on some base IS models. I'd go for a retrim, that way you will get exactly what you want!
  4. On a car of that age I'd replace the cambelt even if it only had 10,000 miles. Rubber isn't designed to last for that long!
  5. I've found the solution to this is to switch from Auto to Off then back, they stay off.
  6. Put it this way if my car was using a litre of oil every 1,000 miles I'd be checking for leaks or getting in for proper diagnosis. That's 16% of the total oil in the engine!
  7. I'd be very surprised if even a rotary engine could consume that much oil, at that rate you'd run out of oil between service.
  8. As it turns out there is an app based on Tapatalk. £1.50 later I'm sorted!
  9. I've been hearing good things about Millers oil recently, used Fuchs Titan Race S in my previous car and noticed an improvement! As far as I know the Lexus plugs are iridium anyway?
  10. Didn't know manual SE-Ls existed, must be a rarity? I've noticed mine is a little more juttery than a normal manual but if I adapt my clutch control and driving postion I can normally pull away smoothly. Would be interested to see if there is a non DMF replacement available when the time comes to replace the clutch.
  11. I think when the time comes I'll be going for the F Sport intake from the USA, a friend has one and rates it highly. Looks great too! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-IS-IS250-IS350-F-Sport-Performace-Air-Intake-Lexus-San-Diego-/231248164951?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35d776f857
  12. Anyone got these fitted on theirs? Slight increase in braking performance and a reduction in dust, could be a worthwhile upgrade?
  13. Thanks Chris :) The site doesn't support Tapatalk does it? Do most of my foruming from my phone!
  14. Looking to see if anyone has fitted any of the following: BC Coilovers Meister R Coilovers H&R Spings Eibach Springs I'm only wanting to get the car sitting a little lower and reduce body roll but I want to minimise any change in ride comfort. Any recommendations or personal experiences?
  15. Hi all, Been lurking for a while not sure if any of you are on any of the facebook groups but I post/comment on there every now and then, think there are around 10 UK members there but hopefully plenty more here! Anyone local to Norfolk? Had the car since March and really enjoying it, not really changed anything other than wipers (Bosch Aerotwins) and swapped a few of the bulbs over for LEDs/better quality ones. Also had an F Sport shift knob shipped in from California. Plans are to get them OEM wheels refurbed as they have suffered the usual Lexus corosion, replace brake discs and pads and at some point down the line get it sitting a little closer to the ground. Also considerred facelifting the front to F Sport front bumper and DRLs. Without further ado pictures: Day she came home: Fitting bulbs (new left, old right): A good clean: With a friend from the Facebook group:
