    as both of the cig lighter sockets have stopped working iam thinking the fuse might have blown.does anyone now which fuse number it is ?as I don't have a manual cheers

    iam sure it must have been the vsc as it happened again last night when I was pressing on with a mate who has a vr6[same road]. perhaps most people have never heard it as they don't push there car hard. iam sure its not the brake booster as no warning lights came on the dash.

    last night I had a spirted drive down a nice country road I know and kept hearing a ping ping noise like a warning sound.no lights came on the dash and the car still went well thinking about it today would this be the vsc? working cheers

    steve someone has modded it so you can plug a phone in to a aux socket plug phone in and the socket works but the guy I had it off says theres a dry joint that needs solder.took it to a radio place and they wont even look at it as someones messed with it. and my phone dosnt have a radio on it !

    the radio in my gs300 dosnt work and I hate not having a radio in the car.now ive been told that I cant just get one out of a scrap car as they are coded to the car now fitting a normal radio looks a nightmare so any thoughts on how to do it?

    they give you a reduction of 10% after loading it by 30%.

    Been offered a good deal on a second hand lpg kit its complete and was fitted to a gs300 its multipoint with flashlupe and has its own ecu. but as its beyond my skills to fit ive phoned a couple of lpg places up and they will only fit there own kit does anyone know anywhere in the midlands that could do it? cheers

    the 0806 is a 100 pound piece of kit so its 10times the price but is it 10 times better? I mean you not trying to watch a film just capture something that happens right in front of you

    a oil cooler is something I will be fitting at some stage to my gs300 where does it connect to the gearbox?. I would have rubber mounted the cooler and I would have done my pipework different as you have lots of clamps that can all be leak spots. is this thermostatic controlled and how much extra oil did you add? cheers

    tigerfish its not all about the money its about having something different something you have done/helped with solving problems/making parts etc its the highs and the lows its hard to explain ive done a few engine conversions mk1 escort v8 rover,jaguar with transit diesel Bedford rascal van with a bike engine and a red top engine into a corsa

    tigerfish yeah stick the lexus v8 into the space with that in line 6 is yep I could buy a v8 but ive got a gs nothing set in stone just looking whats out there and what people have done hamj267 it looks like you can fit a supru box to a gs300 to make it a manual

    my battery is dieing alternater working fine so when my mate said hed scrapped his bmw but kept the 2 month old battery I was round like a shot, to find out its to big to fit in the hole!! now my battery has no spec on it so what size should it be ? cheers
