    thanks,i already thought about taking the bulb "covers"off,been driving for decades ,had most types of cars,spent many yrs hgv driving and can't say i have ever come across this problem before.so i will look into modifying them soon

    can anyone tell me if all rx suffer from appalling reversing lamps,they are useless,i have replaced the bulbs for 20 w,but still useless,we have to back out onto a very narrow dark lane and the reverse lamps are totally useless,we keep the brake lights lit to help see,

    ok,have stripped boot out to look for anything that could knock and found nothing likely,so is it the bumper???.no its not it was a wheel bearing all the time!!!!!jacked car up to check and bearing had a tiny bit of fore and aft play.so changed it and hey presto the knocking has gone :).while doing that noticed the bush at wheel end of torsion bar is worn,ok £10 worth of bush ,half an hour and sorted!oh no,can,t get the bush only whole new arm and knuckle assembly approx. £380 .REALLY? what a rip off,

    if you have ever driven a van you would know they are a lot easier to park,due to large mirrors that show the whole side of van including the rear wheel.i would much rather parallel park my jumbo transit than a standard car

    fellow biker here,been riding longer than i like to admit,lol.slowed down now and ride a glide standard ,wife rides cb1300.do france italy etc .couldn't imagine not being able to ride, it keeps me sane...well sort off!!!

    thanks Steve,the diagram looks like it is for taking the lower skirt/tray off.i need to take the whole rear painted bumper cover off,i will have a go when i get time and the wife hasn't nicked my car lol

    i just bought SE-L (350) my wife loves the air suspension as it lowers when you stop making access back in the car easier for her(disabled)if you are buying a lexus,like any other premium car the bills probably are going to be bigger than your average focus,but balance that against the pure value second hand of large premium cars and it all adds up to very reasonable overall running costs :)

    i have noticed more tyre noise on my 350 than i had on my old model rx300,this is to be expected as they are bigger lower profile tyres.they are all matching bridgestone potenza,always had pirellis which i think do run quieter.

    hello there,i just wondered if anyone has removed the rear bumper on their RX.been tracing a "knocking"on the rear of my car and have whittled it down to the rear bumper,well its the painted plastic cover on the bumper really.it seems loose and when the car hits a pothole etc it hits the upper body work.its not bad but very annoying.it seems to have about 1<2 mm of play,so need to take it off to find the fixings and tighten them up.thanks

    owned an 02 300 for two years,replaced a brake light bulb.that was it,lovely old car ,quiet,comfortable and a good load lugger,just upgraded to a 350 had it a week now ,so far very pleased,its a lot quicker and has all the toys.haven't noticed much difference in fuel econ. so far

    i use r222 as well,best polish i have ever used.it punches up there with swiss wax(approx £200 a pot).i used to valet top end cars and R222 is so easy to use and results are stunning

    went to a mercedes dealer micheal? .....dont do it!!!!!lol. wife drives a merc,its harsh ,noisey and unreliable,

    yes Steve,its gets down the road a lot quicker than the 300,managed to valet and detail it yesterday and very pleased with the condition,all original paint,very few marks for an 06 vehicle,happy chappy here:)

    hi all,new member here.thought i better "join up"as just bought my 2nd rx. bought a 52 plate rx a coupe of yrs ago as a second car for the dog and load lugger,fell in love with it and just got an rx350 to replace it.i hope it proves as reliable as my 300 .
