  1. Comments above should answer this for you Hadrian. 👍
  2. Many thanks folks…..I thought I might have been scammed….I have…by the Government. 😡😡 You’ve put my mind at test though and thanks for responding so promptly. 😂 Andy
  3. Hi Folks I’ve just had a letter purportedly from DVLA inviting me to renew my vehicle tax at £560. I nearly fell off my rocking chair….this is a lot more than my old Nx300. Is there some mistake here? I’d appreciate your advice. Many thanks Andy.
  4. Thanks for responses - I’ll look in to a super immobiliser but not keen on monthly payments if that’s how they work…thanks again folks…
  5. Thanks for responses - I’ll look in to a super immobiliser but not keen on monthly payments if that’s how they work…
  6. Hi folks…can anyone here recommend a high quality ROAD wheel clamp for my NX350h? many thanks in advance. 👍
  7. On the fuelling issue my guess it’s a function of the tank shape- if the tank is an inverted pyramid shape it would be slower to register consumption when full than when it’s only quarter full for instance. If this is the case I’m surprised they don’t calibrate accordingly. In many other respects its a very clever car…. Very happy with mine. 😃
  8. That’s weird…ordered my 350h F Sport early Mar 22 and received it late March 23. 54 week wait. I wonder why yours is later….I specifically didn’t order a sun roof. You’ll enjoy it when it arrives I’m sure…👍👍
  9. Is this exactly the same as the double touch of the door handle when leaving the car?
  10. Hi Herbs, yes I’ve got the apple play etc which I’ll be exploring at some stage but thought I’d start with the Lexus stuff first. Bizarrely on a recent drive from west London along the great southwest road on a drive to East Sussex the Lexus system urged me to pop in to Terminsl,4 at LHR. When I ignored that it suggested Stanwell….good grief! ☹️
  11. Many thanks for this Robin -will check it out fifthwith. 👍👍
  12. Hi folks - I’m very much enjoying my new 350h F Sport, it’s a great car but have a navigation question . I’ve checked the digital manual but can’t so far find a way of saving a location to the Nav system. It would be helpful to do this for remote places without addresses etc.. Many thanks - Andy
  13. My NX350h was handed over to me at Twickenham end of March 23 54 weeks after ordering. Mudflats were fitted as required and security wheel bolts. I’ll feel happier when my second key arrives…
  14. Not just me then....what a shambles the management of this app has been.....In Japan there'd be a ritual disembowelling for those involved .... Thanks for your replies 🙂
  15. Hi folks I’ve just watched the following Lexus UK tutorial about the Lexus Link app. It says I can apparently plan journeys from home. I’ve tried my best to search through the app and can’t find any Nav functionality at all…have I missed something? many thanks…
  16. Very much with the wait I’m sure….she looks stunning! 👍
  17. Just as satisfying as watching one being built I reckon….typically thorough Japanese workforce.
  18. Thanks so much for this comprehensive explanation, Nicolas, it explains a lot. 👍
  19. Japan enjoys very high standards of customer service and respect…everyone who even pops in to a Japanese shop will by welcomed with an ”Irashaimase” from staff….
  20. Glad that my Lexii (?) we’re built in Fukuoka and Toyohashi respectively…not Canada.
  21. There’s much we could learn from the Japanese - pride in workmanship, very high standards of cleanliness and respect for others in general.
  22. That’s my understanding too….parking space is at a premium in the densely populated cities. My wife is Japanese and I’ve made many visits. I also understand that with their version of the MOT at two years old the car needs to be presented at the testing station in the condition in which it was sold…ie stock! Many Japanese certainly used to change cars at that time…
  23. Dream on…it was tipping down when I picked mine up…😢
