Hi guys (and girls) What steering wheel locks would you recommend from personal use? Been thinking about getting one for some time now. It will need to fit a 2016 NX300h and be suitable for a 22MY NX350h should it ever arrive! many thanks in advance. Andy

Hi Fusspot…..I aspire to your elevated status…I ordered a 350h F Sport Sonic Titanium early in March and after chasing my dealer hear that it isn’t expected to arrive now until Apr/May 23. My app not even registering “Order in progress” after waiting 9 months already seemingly forever at the back of a queue…

In fairness Graham I doubt if Toyota are any worse than other manufacturers although I can’t prove it. I haven’t ordered any weird options and if the colour, Sonic Titanium, was a problem why not tell me and agree an alternative? Information flow from my drawer has been poor….

There must be quite a few of us in the same boat I suppose - at least I’m not alone. At some stage customers may well decide to withdraw and find another car. 🫤

Getting a bit miffed now….ordered a NX350H F Sport in early March 22 and told to expect it December(ish), this later became March ‘23, now April or May. Neither of these delays were passed on to me I’ve sort of chased the dealer. Frustrating to have a deteriorating delivery date compounded by not being proactively informed by the dealer. Maybe they fear a cancellation when bringing bad news? Apparently they’ve stopped taking orders for 2023….. I’d be interested to know EXACTLY what’s holding the supply chain up and what’s being done to fix it…

I have had a 16 plate NX300h since new and adding DAB stations is a nightmare involving “ensembles” …hope you get your problem resolved.

I suppose US delivered Lexii (plural of Lexus?) are most likely to be Canadian built. I ordered an NX350h F Sport last March with possible delivery in December. Just been informed March 14th….😬Much prefer a Japanese build to be honest…

I have the same car albeit 16 plate and, set exclusively on ECO, it's giving me just over 40 mpg on a mix of urban pottering and longer runs.

I have the "standard" navigation in my NX300 F Sport and, to be honest, can't get it to find either Richmond upon Thames or Munich...or Munchen for that matter... An appointment with the dealer will resolve it no doubt but what a kerfuffle....

I had the removable Lexus tow bar fitted from new (apparently done at the import centre near Bristol - not by the dealer). Its a little bit fiddly to offer up initially until you get the knack. I use it for a Thule bike rack.

You'll get dramatic effects and, often, improvements from playing with HDR Scape and Drama options.

Thanks for your comment Alec I'm not an expert but "bridge cameras" often have small sensors which don't do much for picture quality and they're reasonably bulky too. That Lumix looks good and can slip in our pocket. If you're not happy with the photos produced by your iPhone try the free app Snapseed...its really very good and improves the worst of photos easily.

Thanks for your comments Martin - I very nearly bought an Audi Q5 petrol to be honest but I suppose it was Lexus' legendary reliability that swung it for me and the fact that the Q5 is due to be refreshed soon. My local BMW said they couldn't source a petrol X1 for test drive. My missus is Japanese and so far we're very happy with Japanese built NX300h. Driving gently I'm getting just over 40mpg in suburban London. I opted for the F Sport as I prefer a black interior.

Many thanks zippyone - the first picture was of a massive and I mean massive engineering project in the Maas near Hoek van Holland. I think it is probably a North Sea oil rig being commissioned or scrapped...not sure which lol. The second image was sent to Lexus UK who send it out to their Instagram followers. I think it was taken on my iPhone and tweaked using the excellent free app Snapseed. I took another image (attached) in the same location a day or two later this time using a proper Olympus camera and its dramatic effect from the art filter menu. This can take stunning photos at dusk. the holiday was blighted with bitterly cold northerlies which put the kybosh on my intended fishing and wasn't great for cycling either.....lol I took more photos but I'll quit while I'm ahead I think... glad you enjoyed what I posted anyway :)

Glad you like it Goggy - shot on my Olympus OMD EM1, then passed to my iPad and adjusted in Snapseed app. I'll send them a copy....

Thanks for your comments guys...in truth the image had been edited for dramatic tone and had very little colour left. The weather has been really grim here this week and I hope the image captured that!
