  1. Everyone says the NX is bumpy. I find the ride no bumpier than any other car I have taken on the same routes. I an not saying anyone is wrong, just that I don't notice the bumps. Maybe its because this is my first Lexus and have no other Lexus to compare it to.
  2. A number of things swayed me to go for the T. The biggest factor was I liked the ride. I know most reviews say its stiff or not the best but I disagree. 80% of my driving is suburbs and local town centres. 20% is on motorways and fast A roads. To me the ride felt good. Also the steering felt good. I haven't noticed any disconnection from the road as some of the online video reviews suggest. I love the twin scroll turbo. 240hp for a 2 litre engine and 0-6 in 7 seconds. The car can move. I had a 2.0 148hp petrol and I wanted something faster but with similar MPG and there are not that many pertol SUVs about. (Some may say that the T is not sporty, true its not a sports car but it is quick for me).
  3. I've just ordered a small digital clock that I am going to stick on nest to the right hand side air vent cover with some sticky pads. I wish they could add a clock to the main display. How hard would that be?
  4. You can supposedly say "Go to audio" or "go to navigation" to jump between screens but my NX seems not to understand this. Its a shame because this tech has been around for nearly 10 years. I can't see it costing Lexus too much £££ to add more commands. Probably a day's work for a developer. Even asking for the time would be really handy.
  5. I am now used to the buttons and settings in the NX and now starting to play with the voice commands. I have the premium navigation and heard that there may be more commands with this, though there doesn't seem to be a complete list anywhere. All I have tried so far is dialling a couple of numbers on the hands free phone. However it would be nice to switch full screens by voice between radio, navigation and climate. In my old car, I could ask "how far to the destination", "how long will it take to get to the destination", "what is the time" and some other questions that kept my eyes on the road and off the screen. Just wondering what other peoples experiences with voice commands are and if anyone has any tips. Oh I saw online that the US version has voice training but I don't see that on my UK version. Is that just me?
  6. Thanks, I shall read the rules and my apologies if I have posted incorrectly.
  7. I put in a Blackvue dashcam. Ran the power cable above headliner and down behind rubber door seals, under carpet and behind plastic panel. Took about 20 mins and it runs from 12v power socket. Blackvue makes really good cameras and have a selection of packages.
  8. Hi, I have just bought my first Lexus. An NX 200t F Sport. Any worries about trading in my previous Honda and changing to Lexus have been calmed as I totally love this car. I've had it two weeks and so far getting between 21 and 23 mpg, though I have only done some short runs to the local shops mainly and one 30 mile trip. I'm hoping to get around 25 mpg combined and 30 mpg motorway. Is there anyone who can tell me what they get? Thanks
