  1. Try to lift the car when engine on... it resetting all sensors... second: each sensor you can easy test... (it's a low chance is the sensor because if one is faulty then front or rear going up. check faults... it might be problem with air suspension ecu.
  2. Hi. It might be cheaper to repair the problem... car stay on normal position? Or rear higher then front? any reaction when pressing suspension button? did you check pump on short connection?
  3. Yes have all plastic covers... but was driving on the beach week before. :D
  4. Hmmm... explain a bit more the noise... maybe no oil in rear differential.... or just one of the plastic covers under the car get loose and making noise when you driving faster... I had that once... plastick clips are rubbish.
  5. Hi. Problem solved! OMG! So happy! Called lexus today and they wanted £680 for all tappets... this afternoon I left my car for my mechanic to start the project... he took out 2 belts aaannndddd... start the engine to eliminate faulty bearings... no noise... after inspection we found a few stones inside one of the belts... :D that was my clicking tapping noise! all good all fine guys! (still we love big L) :D
  6. Hi. I did around 20 miles with that lifters restorer added to my oil... unfortunately no any reaction... it might be some noise from the cambelt tensioner or another component?
  7. My friend had similar problem with his brakes. Regeneration of calipers probably. repair kit you can find on eBay.
  8. Have rx300 and been aboard for Christmas... -10degrees and 15cm of snow... on the new set of winter tyres it drive you where you want! :D
  9. Thanks for your help guys... I think about buying the special bottle of "hydraulic tappets restorer" first.... I will check if the noise is smaller after application... at least I will find out if that's the tappets... that staff should help a bit....
  10. Thanks for useful info GLSV6... I think is the tappet... my mechanic said is nothing to worry about... I don't know... is it safe to drive? Im using shell helix oil now. 5W/30.
  11. Hi there. Just a few days after my suspension has been fixed.. :/ have some ticking/tapping noise coming from the left side of the engine... I was in local garage and they said it can be one of the hydraulic tappets. Is any chance I could fix that somehow and find out is that for 100% without taking engine apart? Have new filters and oil. (Have done 3000 miles) when engine cold I can hear it even more... it can be some of the cam belt components? Tension or something? Ac belt new as well.... anyone had similar issues? thanks lukas
  12. http://www.hybridcars.com/how-to-get-better-mpg-in-cold-winter-driving/ yep... :D
  13. http://www.hybridcars.com/how-to-get-better-mpg-in-cold-winter-driving/ Nice info about your question yep... :D
  14. Thats true... is so dark at night with those lights.... this is what you can do: 1.change light bubls to led with projectors (they are around £10-12 on eBay with Samsung leds) 2. Buy one day light LED and install that under the rear bumper using 2screws, connect wire to one of the reversing lights. option 2 will help a lot! have rx with reversing camera and since third light was installed... is pleasure to drive back. :D (had my MOT 2 months ago and no any problems with additional light... anyway you can't really see is there) thanks!
  15. One screw from my pump get loose and because of the vibrations and -15 degrees in Poland get broken. :D
  16. Thanks! one suggestion to all users... before buying sensors... take old ones out and simple test them using similar tool (my was from screwfix, cost £7) you need to touch middle and right connector on the sensor. number on the screen should change if you will move the arm up and down... that's the sign your sensor responding for moves and is working properly! also you can clean the tracks inside using wd40 and sand a bit springs inside... sorry I now I new hire and uploading lots of pictures ect... if I'm doing something wrong please let me know. :D
  17. All fine guys!!! Problem fixed... probably that was a wire from solenoid which should take the air off from the suspension circuit. I'm so happy! JEM quoted £800 for the sensors and £2500 for new pump... so save some money yeah. :D
  18. Ok... start digging whole morning... Aaand... have found broken wire on my compressor (white one) fill try to fix it in a minute... lets hope! :D
  19. Thank you for your help... did that today and no any reaction... JEM in Colindale suspect faulty rear sensor and possibly compressor... I clean my rear sensors inside-also no luck... still rear stays up... also I did a small check- removed nuts from both sensors and I pushed both up... pump start working, but when I pull them down I could hear click noise somewhere where the pump is but it didn't drop the car... :/ at least I know pump is working... is any chance I can test each sensor with some tool? Ohmmeter? And I'm thinking about faulty dumping valve or solenoid... pump is running manually but not dropping car down...
  20. Hi there. a few days ago I noticed flashing off light on the dash. not for a long time just a few seconds... a few times.yesterday my rear suspension went up and now light is flushing constantly... front suspension much much lower. And no any response when pressing height button from low to normal and high. was in local garage and they said it might be rear sensors and compressor. any chance I can check my height sensor before I buy new ones? (£200 each) :/ any suggestions? thanks! lukas
