Recommended by a LOC member on the US site, I bought a K&N air filter element for my GS300 it arived I poped it in and went of down the road :D :D :D what a difference, well impressed, it cost £64 INCL VAT worth every penny :D :D :D

Lexus cars my look the business but its about comfort reliability quality who needs super speed on the roads today after all the roads ARE NOT RACEING TRACKS. Clarksons just not happy unless hes driving a feel every bump on the road 200 mph plus gas guzzler.

Ive Beat most of you, :P Im 51 and proud of it (but look 31) I would not want to be young again (dont Know anything). How the hell can you people get insurance or are you lot the uninsured im hearing about. Its nice to be 51 my insurance is only £300 Per year fully comp.

Top Gear was my favorite TV progam for many many years, until I owned a Lexus and now car shows seem very bland to me all other cars seem just a wast of time. For years I thought Mr Clarkson was funny and entertaining, but then one day he slagged off Lexus big time, I was shocked how can he slag off the best cars in the world, I went off the guy and now I only see him in a negetive light, Its so bad I change channels when he starts with his sarcasm, I just dont find him funny anymore, just irritating. But as for the rest of the guys they are good and fair. Quintin is a real nice guy and as you say he loves Lexus because he can appreciate quality.

I feel privileged just to own a Lexus. But to be a member of the Lexus Owners Club, well Im just very proud. :winky: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOC :D :D :D :D

I bought my mk1 because they are the least IN YOUR FACE car of its class, Jags, mercs, and others are just too "HERE I AM" and that is just NOT ME its a bit like having a ROLLER over the top. I feel good in my lex very layed back and cool and I know people are not saying "look at that w*anker" and as for BMWs, well common as muck and the drivers are complete ***** h*les, (WHY ?) I dont want to be one of them thank you. :yack:

It will be a used one, and not untill the spring and yes of course things do grow on you, the mk2 does have a more modern look, but I think Im just having trouble letting go.

Hi all has anyone gone from the gs300 mk1 to the mk2 and wished they stayed with the mk1??? Is the mk2 much better ? does it drive better ? or is it much the same as the mk1 I love my mk1 that much is it worth the change? (ok I can test drive one from lexus) but I would like some input from you guys (the guys to ask). :winky: Thanks Phil.

OK its stopped raining, Had a look at the full parking position of the passanger wiper, I dont Know how I missed this, one end of the wiper has hit the bonnet hinge and the other end hits the main arm itself hence bending the wiper. after all this f*rting about just needs the arm repositioning, but I do like these Silicon wipers very nice :D

Got my new wipers, nice fast service by PRI Racing LTD. Applyed the stuff on the screen that came with the wipers. Taken off the old wipers (Lexus ones) I noticed the passanger one is curved, "emmm" looking end to end it is curved and not the way it should be, the other one is not. This cannot be right, its as if the wiper parking is bending the wiper on the window seal, Im wondering if this has been the prob all along. I must look into this more. but it wont :tsktsk: stop raining.

OK good old google. Just orderd a pair of PIAA wipers from PRI Racing LTD £36 incl all in. if they sqweak then I will just have to SCRAP THE CAR

Clunks, Squeaks, just plain annoying. my gs300 mrk 1 has the worsed wipers Ive EVER had on any car Ive owned for noise, Changed them five times the latest ones are lexus cost loads 4 months ago they were just fine when fitted, but now bloody squeak, squeak, clunk , squeak. cleaned them no change. Do I have to change the spring loaded arms as well??? does anyone else have this prob Phil.

So the trick to keeping our cars is:- Keep our keys in a safe under our pillows with six dogs and a magnum 44. Then a tracker is not needed. ooor is it??

Does a Lexus realy need a tracker ? I mean, dose anyone on here know how THE SCUM steal a car like these in the first place. WITHOUT A KEY OR TOW TRUCK.
