  1. Thanks Rat, not for me then ! Poor form on the sellers part not mentioning this, or am I too honest?
  2. It does look like a great buy BR. Were the police just using it for 'public engagement guff', or in anger?
  3. I think the US is being treated differently because of its litigious culture and a Federal government that is not afraid to throw around its weight too.
  4. As a non owner, the pic above looks different again to cars I have looked at online. The buttons under the CD slot are different and I dont see the additional row of buttons below that for AM/Dab etc
  5. That was a good read and written by someone who knows his stuff. It begs the question though when buying in the UK, how do we know we are buying a later car that has the optimised suspension/steering. It seems the MY is not a clear guide to the updates you can see, letalone those you cannot.
  6. What a fantastic looking car, congrats! I like the optional alloys on your car too, I haven't seen many for sale with those. Would love to see more photos if you are up to posting them
  7. Thanks, Dave, that is good info. I had noticed the blue on the s/wheel but didn't know it signified anything, seems like the LSD is easy to pick then bit the rest is more tricky. I will be looking for a late car and hope to get most of the updates - LSD, DAB and suspension at least. Not so bothered about DRL's or the big tacho. I will spend some time reading through the forum and be ready to pounce when the right car appears (Blue, white trim, sunroof, <35k miles ) Cheers
  8. Hello from a new member who is giving one of these some serious thought for later in the year. . This thread is interesting as it confirms what I have seen from watching various cars on the market, that is that the upgrades seem a bit haphazard. In fact, I have only seen one car with the centre tacho and that was a 2013 model despite this being announced as an MY11 change. Then there are the DRL's which appear absent on some. It looks like Lexus were trying to run down the parts bin. How can you be sure you are buying a late model with the LSD and suspension changes as there are obviously harder to verify just by looking? Cheers all, this looks like a very friendly forum :)
