If you get a chance, get on YouTube (might need to get on the French site to find the Original version) and look for "c'etait un rendezvouz" . Make sure you get the original French version and not the Alex Roy biopic (which is awful) It's the first true petrol heads film, by petrol heads for petrol heads!

@Flytvr I knew I was always going to divide opinions with my car but I totally get both sides of the argument for (and against) modifications on all cars.
I think your RCF is amazing and like you and others say, I think the ISF should have been more like the Carbon RCF from day one.
I'll post some pictures of my 1990 MR2 later on so you can see some previous form. I've been modding cars since I was in my late teens so if I can see what (in my opinion) improves the look of a car then I would always do it for my own benefit. If others like it too then that's all good.
Seeing your RCF there is nothing I'd do that hasn't already been done but the ISF begs for some improvements, albeit most of them are merely cosmetic. The fact there are relatively few performance mods available for our cars shows what a great job Lexus did from the factory!
Merry Xmas all!

I've got an HPS and it's good
HPS makes a notable noise improvement and you can kid yourself on that you can feel the 5 extra horses!

You say that like it's a bad thing!

Looks really nice 👍
What spacers did you use? I' be interested in some if I ever put the standard wheels back on.
They are the H&R DRS system 30mm (15mm each side) Trak+ kit. @art number 30656014
You need two sets, they come with the new lug bolts in the box.
Eibach do a kit too but I've always used H&R so you sticks with what you knows!
About £90 a set.

I personally could and would spend zero :)
I'm just not into modifications, but each to their own
just cos you've already got your carbon bonnet!

Check vividracing.com too. Got a lot of my stuff from them and they do future discounts for pictures of it all fitted!

Only kidding @NothernDan. Some nice quality mods there, not everyone is into making changes to the ISF but you've done a nice job. 👍
Properly LOL’ed at that! Quality!!

I reckon this one will get divided views!
I know there are a lot of purists on here but as a long term modifier of all things automotive it was only a matter of time before the ISF came under the knife. Fear not Big Rat, all original parts have been kept for prosperity (and the next owner)!
Not the best weather for a photo shoot but anything to avoid wrapping presents!
So, here is my 2009 ISF with the following mods, some close ups of the most recent additions will follow;
Rear High Level Roof-line Spoiler in Body Colour, H&S Cat Back Exhaust with X-Pipe, HPS Intake Elbow, K&N Drop-In Filter, Tein H-Tech Springs (Only the Fronts fitted giving a 25mm drop - front and rear tyre gap now matches ), H&R Spacers Front and Rear (15mm widened track each side), Tom's Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser, Novel Carbon Fibre Duct Panels, Black Plasti-Dipped Front Main Grill.
I've also got the CF Fog Light Trims, Auto-Technic CF Front Splitters and a Wald Style Rear Spoiler (in Body Colour) to go on in Mid-Jan when I get the front bumper resprayed. I'll also be relocating the front number plate then (controversial!).
Enjoy! (or maybe despise.... the choice is yours!)

@NothernDan Last night I had a dream..... that Lexus ‘F’ owners who put 20k miles on increased the value of their cars by £20k
🐀
Awesome! Anyone want to buy a 2009 with about 75,000 on it in about a years time? £40k and it's yours!

2009 with 55,557 on as of this morning. Had 45,400 on when I bought it in June so watch this space for what happens when you stick at least 20k a year on one of these.... Very little I hope!

Yeah, the paint was super clean. H&S catback without x-pipe sounded awesome too. And it even comes in stay-clean-even-if-its-dirty grey too.
Looks like a good Xmas prezzie for some lucky Lexus fan.

That's the one, the guy runs Obsessive Compulsive detailing, hence the OCD
He'd not had it long from what he said. Does that check out with the Great Rat Databank?

That's as shiny as a very shiny thing! Nice!!
Black does look good detailed, you'll have to let us know how long it lasts.
That g-tech stuff is meant to be good!
No Lexus were harmed during this process......

Now then all. Merry Chrimbo!
Just letting the Turkey settle and thought I'd treat you to some true automotive creation (or destruction, as I'm sure some will think ).
When I was 26 I had the opportunity to buy the car I wanted when I was 17 and with the help of one of my dearest friends (Richard Brown of RJ Brown Motor Repairs - Kirkbride, Cumbria) turn it into something I'd only ever dreamed of owning. I still have the car although it is soon to be up for sale (currently in having a new petrol tank fitted) as it never really gets driven any more.
So.... in the haze of turkey, stuffing and roast everything...... cast your mind back..... remember the car you dreamed of owning when you were a boy and imagine getting the chance to do a proper Fast and Furious job on it!
Enjoy!!
