I had a 20% discount code for eBay so I ordered a Bayson R front lip from the US, I'll post up some pics once it arrives.
Do you notice much difference in throttle response and induction noise with the HPS intake pipe fitted? I've been looking at them myself.
You get a much deeper tone with the HPS in place, especially once the 2nd intake opens up.
Had mine on since the week after I had the car so can’t really comment on throttle response but the car sounds much nicer, lots more induction noise with the HPS in place.
Apparently they are less of a heat magnet than the metal ones but i’d always assume the metal or hard plastic ones would deform less under load.
they are nice bits of kit either way!

You could try and polish that but I'd not be expecting great things!
Plastic does not tend to buff up well.

Are the photos we upload on here still geo-tagged? That could potentially have a bit of a sinister twist? Mods?
Was talking about that with my wife last night. I'm sure geotagging is turned off as standard on most phones and I'm not sure it would survive the upload process.
Thankfully all mine were taken outside Big Rat's house with my house photoshopped into the background.

Such a shame, I was just about to send him £8,000 repatriation money to secure my winnings in the Namibian Lottery.
what am I supposed to do now?

I thought as much. Didn't like the "show us your cars" request when there are plenty of other posts already showing this. Only one step way from "show us where you keep yours locked up"!
Incidentally, let me know when you are next going to be out and where you keep your valuables!

Where has the post gone about Shahid's new GSF?
I'm getting some new floor mats for the ISF off eBay and the seller turns out to be Coventry Lexus. I had a call off them today confirming my postal address and mentioned that I'm a member of the forum (to see if I could get a further discount) and that we had the new owner of their black GSF on here.
The guy was a bit surprised as he said he was looking right at the car as we spoke, it's still on the forecourt yet to be sold.......
Shahid, you might want to check your VIN numbers. Looks like you've bought a ringer

Could be wrong but it looks like Lam Le’s old car. He’s a pretty well known ISF you-tuber who has posted a lot about his car (he rose gold wrapped it at one point). His made up tuning brand is Kanstandlam Garage and the car in the review has the KG sticker in the same place as Lam Le’s car did/does.
Could be wrong but it’s an identical car and spec. They are a little more common stateside.

Looks nice, would love for you to keep the standard green paint though, my favourite 😍
It was tough to let it go. Really hid the dents!

Interesting comparison.
Probably is a tyre thing the road noise is. I've not noticed any difference in the various models I've been given to drive. Yokohamas fitted to the NX are rubbish for road noise.
non car people don't really know anything so would probably think a Merc E class is better than an S coupe so I wouldn't worry about that.
+1 that the road noise will be tyre related. Sold my old R32 as I was convinced there was something wrong with it due to loud whining noise at all speeds. Drove it again after a friend bought it from the dealers I'd shopped it in at (had no idea he was after one) and with only the tyres being changed the noise had gone. Couldn't believe it!

And you thought I was destroying that ISF!

A few of us getting it built back up.
Can't seem to find the folder with all the finished article shots in it but hopefully these give an idea of how it's ended up.
Hope you enjoyed 'em!
Now back to ISF's

First coat of pure brilliant white (not Dulux!).

All filled and smoothed and in the first coat of stopper.

All the various bumps and scuffs along with the annoying bump strip and all the joins between bumper and bodywork have been fibre glassed, filled and fully smoothed-in so the only obvious joins are the doors, bonnet and bootlid etc. Everything else is smoothed-in.

-
Border Front Bumper and Rear Spats fitted and fibre-glassed in place to prevent cracking of the full-smoothing job that was to come next.
The car came with the side skirts already (badly) fitted, can't remember the name of them, it'll come to me.
As you can see, a fair few dents filled and smoothed too. We also decided to remove, fill and smooth the factory bump strip that ran all the way down both sides.

Forest Green 1990 MR2 G-Limited, rust free but full of dents, bought on eBay for £480. Here it is stripped and ready for work to start with a few previous botch jobs visible.
Came with a full decat Magnex Exhaust and a load of HKS under bonnet trickery already in place.

The bolts on the t clamps are way too long though!
Took mine off again and cut them much shorter
