  4. Yer but snapped screws not a real problem mate, Tom-18s yer thats scrap, and patrik's one, reds may be thinking about the one Asi got ? but that was coz it had spent 9yrs in damp shed and passed off as new :o Well Gord snapped screws is a manufacture fault even its not as major as patricks or tom. its still a problem that shouldnt be therein the first place. The one i got was prety much the fault of the keeper of the charger. Yer mate i agree it a problem, but can be sorted for a few £s, i've had 3 chargers to date, i have known about the problem, and just made sure the screw are tight, with lock tight glue, i have never had a problem myself :D But the best option would be to change the screws as Rob has said :D

  6. its a shame you live so far away from me mate, we could sort that in a few hrs mate :duh:

  8. Hi Patrik, if you still in the market for a supercharger, (and i hope you get your money back for this one mate) I have what i consider one of the best tte superchargers that i know of coming up for sale in August, and i'm sure you will be happy with the power this charger puts out mate :D what exactly do u mean by one of the best TTE chargers u know of mate?? u mean condition wise, or the fact that it seems to give more bhp than others have?? Well over the years of having lots to do with tte chargers, i think (and its just me, well Steve as well) that some chargers are better than others Rob, i've had 2 different chargers fitted to the same car, and one was much better than the other, as i say, its just me that thinks this, would love to do r/road day swapping chargers about on same car just to see.
  9. Might be, I was waiting for the IS-F used prices to drop a bit but this is an interesting idea too.........will have to give it some thought You can get 2nd hand IS-F for 37k now mate :o

  13. seriously !!!???? I paid 900 for the car For a garage to do the work, and it depends on how many valves you have bent, and you will have bent some :o Thats the avg price £700+ and that not main dealer, well you will see tomorrow mate :duh: Might be cheaper getting 2nd hand engine :o
  14. Well you need to take them off, put the plastic bits back on, and start again mate, but if you not happy for then to do the work again, as they really have not fitted them right in the 1st place, it not that hard to do, but if you do yourself you will need some d/side/tape. Have to go work now mate :duh:

Yes it takes longer when you taking plate off, than putting new one on, mate of mind did this and took 3 weeks for them to sort, but the dealer did all the paperwork for him as part of the deal.
  16. The silver bolts SHOULD be screwed into the white plastic blocks supplied with the kit, please tell me they are
  17. Thanks mate. You did look like you were enjoying driving it! :D Its just one of those cars that if you drive it normally its ok but nothing special- but when you grab it by the scruff of its neck and drive it like you stole it, it does come alive. Yer but i lost most of my hair in the wind
  18. Thanks guys for the quick responses. Here's how the front end looks at the moment. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3607/358960...6fcd767.jpg?v=0 And, as you said, he gave me back two little plastic arch like things, that I don't know where it was before, or where did he take those off? Were these fitted to the front arch or the back arch? If they are for the back arch, I couldn't see any screw holes on the arch itself? BTW, this was bought from Lexus dealer, I suppose this would be original then.... They are from the front, and this is part of your problem, they need to be fitted as they act as spacer, they use the same screws as in the pic mate, and run up the inside of the wing. Ps, your fitter should of had a read of the fitting instructions, then they would have known, how have they fitted them to the under side of the car, just pop under and see if you can see 4 bolts (each skirt) bolting it to the under side of the car.
  19. Look or post pic of how fitted at the front end, as i think they may taken the plastic black bit off that run up the wing, this would account for the skirt being/looking long, or it may just be a copy of the OEM one's :o
  20. It's fantastic car Anees :D looks lots better in real life, very nice to dive :winky:
  21. Very nice mate, and yes they do look cool at night :D
