are the lexus brake pads just toyota ones? i am thinking about just ordering the pads from my local toyota garage instead of travelling to belfast to order. also are they easily fitted? cheers Paul

Driving along this morning when all of a sudden the brake light on the dash lights up when i push the brake pedal and sometimes when just driving along. car has done 19800 miles. have the brake pads worn down already? any suggestions thanks in advance Paul

i have a year to build this and i have to program a database which can deduct one i.e stock. hence the reason why a part list and price would be preferable. this ict as coursework is going to be a paon in the ar** Andrew

steve (west midlands) thanks ill prob take u up on that offer sometime. ict man siad that you should base it on the real thing and base it on something you know a lot about so i thought lexus spare parts (not exactly mods) service parts etc, stuff like that. pref a pre made data base of part numbers with price etc would be good. then i couild like them togehter with other databases. feel free to tell me if im talking s*** or if you want me to stop posting this. do you think such a database even exists of stock parts price etc. Andrew

i am the son of Paul aka PI100. In school i have to solve an ict problem. Basically what is is creating a complex database using microsoft access. The idea is to create/prgram a database which could be used in real life. What im thinking of doing is lexus spare parts database i.e i would enter a person reg plate and the database would look the plate up to the person corresponding to the plate. Then it would tell me the car the person drives. I then would scroll through the selection of spare parts the customer needs. When i select the spare part it wouls check with another database to check the availablity of it and if in stock automatically deduct 1 from the stock. that is my basic idea. would do you think. Also would anyone be able to send me a database of spare parts and model numbers? any advice would be appreciated. many thanks Andrew

i went down this road today and i didnt know they had laid stones on it (there wasnt even a sign) now my car has about a million stone chips!! and i was driving slow. to brighten the car up i was thinking of buying the meguires 3 stage kit thing, do u think this would make a difference to a dark red car. i want the car to me sparkling. thanks in advance Paul
