Tyres. I need to replace all 4 tyres on my gs. Can anyone recommend good quality tyres with maz price of £100 per tyre? ANyone had any experiences with continentals. My local tyre fitter dislikes bridgstones as he said the outer rim is prone to wearing and i have to agree with him. many thanks Paul

got the car serviced yesterday. the person on the phone said the front brake pads did not get changed however when i got there they had been changed. in total a 20k service with new front brake pads cost me £356! is that good value or bad value? also lexus belfast have never heard of lexus gold membership or even lexusownersclub. does anyone know the actual wax/polish the dealer uses?? maybe chris shipley knows or could find out. the reason why i am asking is that it seems very very effective as yesterday the dealer was/polished my car and it left it with a beautiful deep red colour. thanks in advance Paul

well i got the car serviced today and the brake pads did not need replacing so i managed to save myself a few quid. they lent me a late 2003 is200se and i must say i thought it was a very nice car.

hi i have posted this before but cant remember the answer. approximately how much are new front brakes pads for a mk2 gs300. also the brake indicator comes on and off when i brake however this only happens sometimes. i noticed today when i braked fairly hard the brake warning light did not come on. is it faulty? 2nd question- are the wing mirrors actually heated or is it just warm air redirected towards them to defrost the mirrors in the morning. 3rd question-top airvent just below the clock-do any of you have a problem with an annoying and persisant rattle. is the vent hard to take out? finally is it possible for the dealer to turn on a bleep noise so when i lock and unlock the car a 'bleep bleep' can be heard. thanks in advance (hopefully this makes sense) Paul
