    just a quick question, slightly related! on the a/c unit there is the different settings (fan speed). every time i put it onto auto the fan just comes on full, is this right???? i thought the auto setting vary'd according to the temp? or am i just being a muppet thanks. J.

    weekend i went to Alton towers from Southampton, over 400 miles for the trip and i still had about an 8th of a tank left! light had not come on! B) i put it down to the fact that most of it was motorway miles, but did have a bit of a race with my mate now and then J

    i dont want to sound lazy but i really like the boot pop up! i have just sound proofed my boot and now the boot door is so heavy that it will not move! also plan on putting a spoiler on the car so again will make it heavier! is there any way of adapting it or an aftermarket product that will mean i dont loose the opening boot! or will i actually have to get off my fat ***** and actually use my hand! J

    should be able to get them to fit i guess! :duh: i'm getting them at such a good price that i can probably sell them on for the same price if they don't fit! thanks all! J. :)

    thanks! so they should go on the back with minimal problems! but will i be able to get them on the front, as they don't have 8's only 8.5's. i dont care if they rub on the arch's cause as you said that can be fixed!!! as long as they don't rub the brakes im cool! thanks all for your help!!!!     so a 37 offset will not rub on the brakes! but on the bodywork, what if i get the arch's rolled???? J.

    they are 8.5, but the maximum offset is 37! :duh:

    I'm just about to order a set of advan tc II's for my lexus is200 in 18 inch i just need to know what offset will best fit the car! they come in 25, 31 or 37! any help would be much appreciated! thanks! J :)

    there might be some people selling their car on the forum! or you could get one from auction, i bought my S for £7200 about 3 months ago, full service history, 69k, its in good condition. J.

    im planning on cutting up my rear fog lights (i have the clear ones)and spraying the chrome part black! just wanted to know if anyone has done this and what glue did they use to put them back together, also has anyone done it to the main rear lights? thanks. jason

    im 21 and have a lexus is s, its the bottom of the range model but that doesn't matter to me! apart from the rs200 all the uk is200's have the same engine! the s is the bottom of the range, se is middle of range has extra's like sun roof, heated seats etc. and the sport is the top of the range with the full works! insurance is £930 fully comp for me, with 2 years no clains discount! im modding my car as well, i started with the bottom of the range so that the insurance is as cheap as possible before the mods go ahead! at the end of the day no matter what one you buy, your going to be happy! jason

    is the tyre pressure chart not printed on the drivers side door frame? or is it just up to the 17' wheels? some tyres have the psi printed on the side wall! J.

    havn't had this problem with mine, could be tracking if its happening at speed! most tyre places will check your tracking for free, and will only charge you if you have it sorted! and then its only about £15. whats the tyre wear like, is it un-even? J.

    i also dont have sat nav, but im not to worried! just wanted to know if the fold up tv from the original sat nav system can work with say a dvd player or a playstation2? has anyone done this or know of someone who has? thanks J
