  1. What's the ride like on the 19s, I've got the 17s and they look tiny compared to other car's... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  2. Some useful information there, will try the EV button trick tomorrow morning.... [emoji6] [emoji1303] Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  3. Not bothered about the reverse light, but the no camera on a premium vehicle is just ridiculous! Especially when you have everything else... That and the no bass on the 6 speaker stereo system is my biggest disappointment with the car.
  4. Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to post this up! I will take a look at my panel now! [emoji3] [emoji1303] Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  5. Hi Herbie, thanks for the info, I found the post, was an interesting read. Although my situation is a little different. I currently don't have a standard camera fitted. So was wondering if the white plug I found is part of the oem camera loom, as would rather use that if possible. I suspect the cars are too new for people to have really played around with them. Doesn't seem to be a great deal of info about on the is300h... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  6. Hi thanks for the response. I believe the plug has two rows of 5, although I don't recall the 2nd row of contacts being used. If you have found a camera for 25 quid I might take a punt! [emoji3]. All the one's I've seen are about 400 quid! Which is a little steep if it doesn't work! Can't think what else the plug could be for if it's not part of the oem camera loom. My IS has the standard navigation, you are not missing anything, as mine is about 4 year's out of date! Google maps is much better. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  7. Can someone post a picture of there oem reverse camera position on the boot lid please. Would like to compare with parts found online. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  8. Hi there, was having a look at the the boot lid today as was hoping to install a 3rd party camera, and came across a plug tied back. Looking at it I am wondering whether it is part of the oem camera connection. Potentially if I bought the reverse camera it may be plug and play? Will try and upload some pictures, once I have reduced the size some how..... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  9. Does anyone have the pin outs for the back of the car stereo? I have purchased a cable which bridges between the car loom and the stereo so that I can install a rear view camera. If I can work out what the rest of the pin outs are I could install my sub at the same time.... [emoji6] Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks for your response. I will take a look in the boot area on the rhs to see if there is an amp or wire loom I could use. It's surprising that for such a premium vehicle a sub wasn't included. I'm also baffled as to why no reverse camera is fitted when you have everything else.... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  11. Hi there, I am the proud owner of my first Lexus, only a month old to me. I have a Toyota Supra as a weekend car, however i am enjoying the drive of my is300h after upgrading from an old Astra 1.7DTi as the daily. I have looked over the forum and tried searching for the answer, however it doesnt seem to fit my problem. I like the entertainment system, however it lacks any real depth. At first i thought the car came with a sub on the parcel shelf, however on further inspection, it just has a cover in place where the speaker would be for the prem nav spec. My question is, is there any wiring loom which i can come off from so that i can install an external sub box and amp. I have read that some people have used a rear door speaker output and fed this into a high input on the amp. Just wondering whether the cabling would be tucked away somewhere that i can use? Any help would be appreciated.
