  1. Just out of curiosity, has anyone changed the ballasts for 55w one's? Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  2. Ok thanks, I will take a look on fleabay and see what's about around the 5K colour range. I did spot a Philip's bulb which was nearly 80 quid! Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  3. I will have to take a closer look at my headlights then. The outside plastic covers appear to be still nice and clear. Not sure about the projector lenses. Any recommendations on 5K bulbs? Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  4. Does that happen? What is the colour K supposed to be for oem bulbs? Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  5. I have an early 2015 executive edition. Just wondering whether the bulb output has diminished... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  6. Has anyone changed there stock HID bulbs for anything else? Mine appear to be quite yellow and tbh not very bright... My after market kit on my Supra is amazing in comparison. Just wondering if people have changed there's... Also how much hand scraping will it be to swap the bulbs... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  7. I've done this also, can vouch for navirider, in my opinion it transforms the car, as this was the main thing lacking in the car. I love the full size screen. Big bonus for was it made adding a reverse camera very simple and it looks better than oem, as the parking sensors are still shown at the same time next to the reverse image. You also get the steering lines on the screen. You can also go for the full panaramic view around the car if you install a camera at the front and under the wing mirrors. Not looked at that yet. Just installed 2x 6x9s on the rear shelf plus a removable sub in the boot. Just a couple of things to finish off for that oem look.... Other than a set of 18in or 19in wheels then my perfect is300h is done.... Lol Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  8. I too have had my is300h since March this year and have come from an old Astra mk4 which I had for 9 years, it too had done 220k miles and was very basic inside. My is300h is 4 year's old and had 21k on the clock. It drives and feels like a brand new car. But the comfort and quality is second to none. My only criticism of the car was it didn't come with a rear reverse camera, and the 6x speaker system is lacking! I've since solved the camera issue and now working on putting a couple of rear mounted speakers on the shelf and a sub in the boot, hopefully that will solve the problem... Oh I do love the heated seats.... [emoji6] Very handy on a cold September morning! [emoji3] [emoji1303] Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  9. Anyone know if the NX and IS key fobs are interchangeable? I've found a key which is for an NX but has the same numbers and codes on the casing as mine. The only difference being the boot release button is slightly different, but the style of key fob is the same..... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  10. This is the screen I bought. Not cheap but works very well and looks oem! £482.44 22%OFF | 10.25 inch NAVIRIDER Android 7.1 Car Radio GPS Navigation BT Head Unit Screen for Lexus IS 200 250 300 350 200t 300h 2013-2017 https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/pBCKdMG Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  11. Haha, I've done something very similar.... Apart from changing the front bumper, although I had to remove mine to fix the front grill. I have added the illuminated kick panels plus the door projector lights. Those were the quickest and easiest upgrades ever! I have installed a carbon fibre rear spoiler lip, mudflaps, wind deflectors on the windows and my biggest upgrade is replacing the display screen with an android powered 10.2in display plus added a rear view camera. I have a 10in sub box to install at some point plus some rear speakers either 6x9s or 17cm ones as have either kicking about, will decide once I have removed the rear parcel shelf. I do want to change my 17in wheels as these look too small. Other than that I think I will be done... [emoji6] Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, you get the cable and the techstream software with installation instructions. I bought this to setup my remote windows up and down with the key fob, plus adjusted the auto headlight sensitivity. Not tried the key programing yet but I will cross that bridge once I have sourced a virgin key. I've read through the process a couple of times and feel fairly confident.... 13. I used this one and it works fine. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F282962742382 Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  14. You are looking at £350 to £400. Hence why it's worth getting techstream with a cable and a virgin key for less than half that price. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  15. What's the deal if the key isn't virgin and is coded to a car... Can you use the techstream software? Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  16. I've been after one for a while too. Not found anything tho. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  17. I don't suppose you have any details of the ebay person you used? I've been looking around for a while now but can't find anything suitable. I have techstream with the proper xhorse cable. I've already programmed a couple of things so I know it works. Cheers Alex Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the quick response Ian. OK so I essentially need to get a brand new key.. Although I have seen some keys wiped of the previous vehicle can this not be done via techstream? So far the only car fob I've found is around £250 mark. Was hoping to get an ebay one from a breakers. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  19. Does anyone know if there are compatible key fobs which can be programmed to work with the is300h? My car never came with a spare key so looking to get a spare key fob for just in case... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  20. To me it looks like you still have the protective film on the screen..... Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  21. Did you check the date code on the tyres before you binned them? Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  22. That's funny, I'm thinking of changing my 17in wheels for 19ins as the 17ins look small for me. So I would potentially have 17ins up for sale.... [emoji6] Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  23. Hi, taking the front bumper off is pretty straightforward, do a search on YouTube as there is a video on there which is easy to follow. Took me about 10mins to remove mine. You don't even need to get the car up on a ramp. My lower grill panel had to be removed as for some reason it hadn't been put back correctly and some of the tabs had not been pushed into the right place. This was affecting my parking sensors. While the bumper was off it also gave me the opportunity to give the front a clean. Have a look on ebay for a replacement grill. Normally there are a few parts floating around on there. 24. They look great! Do you get any rubbing issues due to the size? Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
  25. Hi mate, I took your advice and spent a couple of euros on the lexus tech docs, one question I have tho, is how do you tie in the connection plugs with the diagrams? I am after the acc pin out and rear speaker pin outs. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
