  1. Do you plan to apply it yourself or get it done at a garage?
  2. DId Admiral insure it on the VIN number or did you wait until you had a plate? Thanks
  3. There must be at least 50 or so imported ISF's in the UK by now, that number will only go up. So long as the Lanoguard does what it claims, it is so much easier to apply than anything else I have used and when you go back to do anything on the car, you don't get covered in tar. Personally those two points alone make it worth the yearly application. Someone on here put a UK dash into their car and it worked OK, displayed in english.
  4. I could be, just my own experience. From the outside, there was never really a facelift of the ISF, just the 2011 onwards got different lights, 2010 onwards got different wheel options. Should your ISF have been an original UK supplied car with the black stereo surround, then iirc they left the factory mid-late 08 - mid-late 09, think the crossover month was September. I imported mine from Japan, so the point I was making is that for imports, the UK number plate goes by the date it left the factory. UK dealer cars are different.
  5. It must be a completely different level of speed, I have seen a couple on full chat and they are comically fast. I love my ISF and plan to keep it for a long time but being fair, nowadays a 140i with a map and a couple bolt ons would wipe the floor with them in terms of speed, its the subjective things about the Lexus which make me want to hang onto it. Things move on I suppose and with good reason, well wear on the Tesla
  6. Seriously? Well thats a coinkydink, 1 in 200-ish..... You never know who you are talking to eh, hope its still going well. I imported mine, its also a 59 plate 2010 model. What are you thinking to move onto?
  7. The actual switchover to producing 2010 models in the factory, happened in the latter months of 09. Just as loads of 2011 models were produced in 2010. Imports in the UK, get their number plate based on the day they left the factory, rather than when they were officially registered in the UK after weeks on a boat etc. From memory, the EVO reviewed facelift UK car was an 09 car. Wherever that is now.
  8. Thanks, with that in mind, the 11.9 litre figure sounds like it might it might be possible.
  9. Did you guys keep track of how much coolant you put in the system once the radiator was changeed? The only reference I have found after a quick look is: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f-2008-2014/939951-changing-antifreeze-for-isf.html#:~:text=If your system is empty,11.9 liters to refill it. I plan to do a complete drain including the block, so I am trying to figure out how much to order. 11.9 litres sounds a lot and that post doesn't reference any source. Wondering what experience you guys had? Thanks
  10. Perhaps thats because actual owners of the ISF, find it easier to drive the car from the drivers seat, rather than from the rear passenger seats.
  11. How does the handling compare to the coilovers? I take it that compliance is better? Glad you got it sorted.
  12. Thanks for the pics. I didn't realise that the front shocks were so straightforward to get fitted. Apparently one arm needs to be unbolted on one side at the rear but thats it. Be good to see how you get on and then see how the handling changes.
  13. Look forward to seeing what you think of the Bilstein and factory spring setup. Considering this for mine as a fit and forget setup.
