  1. Looks lovely. Congratulations. Is everything in Japanese though? Thats one thing that would worry me, japanese switches, screens, etc.
  2. No bother. I went ahead and fitted it anyway. On first start up I thought I was after making a massive mistake but it settles down quickly and, as you say, has a beautiful V8 roar to it. It's a massive improvement. I'm surprised by the lack of drone and how quiet it is at cruising speed but how vicious the sound gets when you are on it. It's not quiet at all when giving it the beans but not really any dronier than the stock exhaust when cruising. The car gets noticed a lot more now alright which for me is a good thing. It was too anonymous before. It also feels significantly faster than before with the remap. Great modification. Engine mounts were well worth doing too.
  3. Hi, my ISF touchscreen has stopped working completely. Is there anywhere I can order a new display panel?
  4. Hi Rich, how are you getting on with this? I still have not put on the headers as ive been so busy with my house. How much louder than the stock headers are they? I have a Hayward and Scott exhaust and i love the sound of it. I still have my secondary cats in and I will be keeping them in. It's a daily driver in some ways but I really only have to drive it when I want to as I have a 4x4 from work. I leave it parked up for weeks at a time so in reality its an occasions car. Is it ridiculously loud? I've asked this on US forums but I've been to the US and I dont think Americans understand the concept of "obnoxious loudness" as lots of cars there are just insanely loud.
  5. I still have mine for sale if you are interested. Sale thread on here too.
  6. Sorry, only seeing this now. I have the entire performance package for sale here which includes an air intake and the RR racing tune. My car has a Hayward and Scott exhaust so I'm sure it will go well if I install it. House bills are not getting any smaller so it's still for sale if you are interested.
  7. ISF, brand new and never fitted to any car. They are PPE right hand drive headers.
  8. I'm currently selling a set of you are interested.
  9. Oh wow, that is a hard deal to beat. Not much point selling them separately as I think it would make it harder to sell the headers.
  10. Okay, so I finally received these a few weeks ago. I'm still on the fence about selling them/fitting and I have a mechanic booked for 2 weeks to fit them but I really should be spending the money on my house. 🙈 So, if anyone makes me an offer over the next few weeks I'm willing to listen. They are beautifully made and I really would prefer fit them so please take the temptation away from me...
  11. Right, neither of these guys above have come back to me so this is still for sale if anyone is interested.
  12. I should have this by next week and have decided I definitely want to sell it. Anyone interested should PM me.
  13. Yes, they have to be fabricated for RHD. I don't think they are transferable unfortunately.
  14. Hi, I have a brand new RR Racing Power Kit arriving soon and i'm thinking about not installing it as I might need the money for my house...boring I know. Would anyone here be interested in it? I would be selling it for what I paid for it. Obviously its right hand drive and comes with Air Intake kit and ECU tune. €3600 is what I paid and what I would be looking for. That's considerably cheaper than you would get one in direct from the USA. https://www.rr-racing.com/RR-Racing-Lexus-IS-F-Performance-Upgrade-Package-p/isfppkg001.htm If you are interested please let me know.
  15. How common is this issue? I'm about to place an order for some headers and possibly a differential but I don't fancy being hit with an unexpected bill for this repair.
  16. Interesting. The 156 had a 3.0 with 240bhp going through the front wheels and no traction control of any sort. You couldn't even put down a little bit of power in the wet without spinning the inside wheel up. I fitted a Quaife differential and it was like a different car. That said, I agree that I haven't noticed the back wheels spinning hugely but if I could get a reasonably priced differential like the Quaife unit I would. That only cost €700 I think. Its funny how different some peoples opinions on this are. A lot of people seem to totally ignore the IS Fs without the LSD. I'd like to hear from someone who has owned both or driven both extensively.
  17. I was looking at also getting an LSD for this. I fitted a LSD to my old Alfa 156 v6 and it was the best upgrade I ever made. Totally changed the handling and power delivery of the car. I see the official Drexler one is about £1500 + VAT. Are there other options out there?
  18. I can't really go wrong at that price I suppose. I'll always have a spare set (originals) anyway if I keep the car long term.
  19. I'm looking at getting a set of springs and dampers from a low milage 2011 car for my 2008. They are only costing me €280. Worthwhile upgrade? My own are on 58,000 miles now.
  20. Oh right why the sarcasm? The they do it every two or three months on their USA website. Always organised by customers. That's generally the nature of group buys? Suppose its easier to make snide remarks though.
  21. Is anyone interested in this? I see in the USA they get lots takers for the group purchase every few months. Would there be similar interest here if we could arrange something? I might try to contact them if there is.
  22. Savagegeese is the best car channel on YouTube bar none. The level of detail and professionalism of the video that these two guys achieve is amazing. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk
