Aye, it probably has something to do with me dropping F30 and putting 20 inch concaves on her. From what I understand, 1st gen ISF are much stiffer. Lack of torsion LSD can be a deal breaker too. Not to mention better infotainment and etc. Horses for courses, I drove MR2 twin turbo as daily (75 miles p/d) for a year, I must have most comfortable arse. I don't mind showing my car in flesh and giving you a wee spin. It would vaguely represent what you would find on the newer models. Mine is very well kept, FSH and almost bone stock. I'm based in Lurgan, I know it's not wise to travel without a good reason these days, but restrictions won't last forever.

Only seen one ISF here year ago or so. It's very rare and people don't know what they up against when they want to race me🥵 Ride quality is very subjective, I still have BMW F30 and I think Lexus drives better.

Hello guys, Unfortunately conditions on the roads in Northern Ireland forced me to replace my beloved OEM alloys to the aftermarket ones. Sorry to be nuisance, but I am still quite a newbie when it comes to aftermarket wheels sizes and for the life of me - I couldn't find anyone fitting similar set of wheels or measurements.. Alloy shop said it should be OK for my car.. Would these below fit my bone stock ISF? ET35 sounds like very strange offset for rears.. Will I need to have spacers? JR Wheels JR11 19x8,5 ET40 5x112/114,3 Bronze JR Wheels JR11 19x9,5 ET35 5x112/114,3 Bronze Also, would I be ok fitting F 225/40R19 R 255/35R19 or I could go wider? Thank you

Wow! Amazing MPG there. I've went to from Northern Ireland to Lithuania with average of 21 mpg and I thought it was brilliant 😂 But then again, I've lit up autobahn in Germany and I was pretty heavy on pedal all the way from there.

My ISF and F30 🙂 Both of them were my dream cars when I was younger.

He must know that you keep your car in a pristine condition and also that mileage is very sweet 🙂

Thank you guys. I got original ones welded and the mount fixed. @4969_LXS thanks for the advice, I will definitely look for exhaust upgrade at some stage, I find OEM exhaust to be tad bit mild for my taste and would love to have less restrictive system.

It seems that transport company hooked a rachet strap on the left assembly and it streched out the poor sod. Hanging lower than on me granny. Hence why tips fell off and I can't even get them aligned. The mesh is warped as well. No wonder tips fell off when I've picked the car. Can anyone recommend me a place where I can purchase a replacement? Or maybe kind ISF owners would have one for sale? Cheers

Hello guys, I only had Lexus ISF with me for a day when famous oem quad exhaust tips decides to go airborne. Right before I wanted to take some ISF ***** picks for my private collection. Luckily enough I managed to see them decoupling in my mirror and caught them bastards by their necks. It was a close one, as we were about to get flattened by a truck. I will try to find a welder today and get him to weld all four just in case. It seems that there are like 6 (4 up, 2 down) tiny weld spots on the original tip surely they are ought to give up the ghost at some stage.

I've recently purchased Lexus ISF and I'm a happy man, but before that I've spent more than 5 months looking at cars like Hyundai i30n fastback, MB A35 amg, BMW m140i/m240i, Seat Leon ST 300 and ofcourse Honda Civic Type R. When it came to driving - there was no competition.. Civic is superior to others, I've noticed it on the first corner and even more so when I got further away from prying eyes of Honda dealership 😂 You can absolutely floor it like a madman and expect it to take any bend. There's no FWD/AWD nonsense that plagues other cars, no shaking, erratic shocks through steering wheel, no nose poke. I am not sure how to explain it, but it felt like a complete product, unlike some with powerful engine slapped in some ecobox. There are bits I do hate about Civic Type R. Infotainment is even worse (meh, I don't care about this that much tbh) than on BMW and looks of rear end. Front end is absolutely gorgeous, but rear makes me shiver. I still went for older ISF (it won against my other options like VXR8, 300c Srt8 options) I can always buy any of them wee fast cars later on, but big engine cars are dying breed. Hope you have loads of fun, Honda Civic community is full of professional drivers when under last gen it was full of kids 😂
