  1. A bit of movement!? ))) You have all the answers. According to Lexus repair guide, if balljoints doesn't have enough stiffness, it has to be replaced.
  2. My dealer said that the add it every service. I never asked, but it doesn't look like I payed extra for that.
  3. Well, it sounds rediciolous to me, that NCB attached to a car. It used to be applied to driver only. Even when I do aplicattion form for insurance, it asks me for my NCB, without any car related. New drivers buys cheap cars to earn that NCB, to have better insurance price for their next better cars. And how it sounds, when you come to insurance, and they ask if you had any accidents? And you say that there was no accidents for 5 years on one car and 2 years no accidents on another? But what if to buy one insurance for two cars?...🤔 Another thing is second driver. If you are as a second driver in insurance contract, you don't earn NCB. If you are insured by company for driving company's car, you don't earn personal NCB.
  4. I just recently noticed that too. I switched from Shell E10 to V-Power and after one full fuell tank it showes me 51 MPG so far. Comparing with previous 43.5 MPG (for about 1.5 years). And this is on Premier with R18's.
  5. It's fair enough if you are talking about top range of every car's model. But about smallest wheels that fits, size increased because of need in bigger brakes. Speeds, weights + handling and safety standards increased. You can put R16 on IS300h, but IS350 R17 are smallest that fits.
  6. For the past year I've got 6.5l/100km on my R18. Now I'm doing long test avoiding e10 fuel. And so far I can say the difference is sensitive. But not in fuel cost.
  7. I've bought mine here Lexus Paint Repair Touch Up Kit — Touch Up Paint Kit (lexuspartsdirect.co.uk)
  8. It has already been done once with perfect colour match. At least dealer offer wheels repaint.
  9. That's my main struggle. Need to get mine repaired either. But for me 100% oem match is essential. It seems like for me lexus dealers is the only option.
  10. I used to work in a car parts business 10 years ago. Back then it was fine enough Brembo, Zimmermann, Ate, Textar, Pagid, Jurid (if we are not talking about sport performance stuff). But again, back then there a was reason to go for these brands because they were more than half cheaper than OE, sometimes one third of OE price. I haven't look for prices nowadays, but if there would be price difference just of 20-30%, I would go for OE.
  11. What!?!?!? Because of cold water in hot weather? No way...)))) It's more likeliy the car's geometry suffered from rear damage. And the body/frame is not stiff enough anymore.
  12. About 500-1000km, don't remember exactly.
  13. I wrote somewhere here that I have the same noize issue with Turanza 6. After a month that noize dissapeared.
  14. He's more likely looking for R18's. 1-2 months ago I couldn't find set of Pirelli's in whole Europe. plently of front's but rear's - nowhere. meanwhile some tyre websites have offer of it, but when order - sorry, we can't get them.
  15. Totaly disagree! I don't recomend Sport maxx rt2 on IS300H. Will get rid of them within 2-3 weeks. Main complain - very hard and uncomfoortable.
  16. it's from basic T&Cs from any car brand. As long as I remember from my past expierience. There is quite big list of warranty exceptions and they are different depending on country. For example you could be rejected in warranty just for back of the car(if you have rear damage) or just engine(if you maintained it by yourself) or paintwork(if the car has been repainted)... For damaged in accident cars, all depends on type of damage. If the damaged part can be replaced just by unscrewing it and replaced for a new one, then there're no reasons for warranty rejection. Like damaged bumper, if all fittings are in it's factory dimensions and sizes, then new bumper can be put on without loosing warranty(at dealers workshop only offcourse). As for write-offs I think all of them don't have warranty's. It's interesting to look at the arguments between dealers and insurers at the point where the repair price builds up. Insurer, offcourse, whants to give as less money as possible for repair. But car manufacturers are pushed by law to provide warranty for full claimed period. And that gives them power to put in the repair list every little thing, which they need to replace for keep warranty for the car, meanwhile insurer can't say "no, we're not gonna pay for this, this, and that". Technicaly, there could appear serious repair cost for minor damage. So it's a relation between repair cost and cars value. Numbers everywhere are different, but write offs are happen when repair cost is somewhere in between 30-50% of cars value. No dealers repair, no warranty, write off.
  17. If you're talking about long Hybrid system warranty(I don't remember 12 or 15years), it applies on non accident cars only...
  18. Have a look on the car during the sunny weather by walking around at about 10-15m away from it. That will makes much more sense to you instead of watching images.
  19. Technical issues. There is so small info about maintainance. By the mileage I see that it's about the time to change brake discs and pads, both, front and rear. If the images are actual, it's clear about front - it is the time. About rear, the images are not clear. The same story about spark plugs and aircon service. If you won't find it a list of completed jobs, it's more likely you will have to do it soon after buy. Right rear has a colour mismatch. Most likely had a serious body repair.
  20. I had before er33 either. Difference in comfort is huge. but mostly I think because of er33 was pretty old, so it's quite unfair comparison. I wanted to try Pirelli Powergy, but I couldn't find 255s in whole Europe.
  21. Same trouble with Turanza 6. Seems like It's tyres aerodynamics issue. Hoping that wheel allighnment would help at least at some point.
  22. I think it would be cheaper to replace the whole panel. Just looked threw the e-net, there is an offer for used one £28.
