Hi ColinBarber. Can I recognise a lexus CT (2014 facelift) with the 10 speaker upgrade? Was it only available to premier or to any trim with the sat nav? Also do you know if seats come with NuLuxe leather as in the USA? Cheers!

I've been researching the market for a while and came to the conclusion that CT would be the best. It shares the same drivetrain as Prius and Auris but it has much better interior with possibly a slightly harsher ride but it has a somewhat luxury interior. I've been doing my research for the last 3 months and I have noticed that once two to three weeks a gem pops for sale but it goes so fast. My 2 cents: go for 2014 or 2015 if possible as their piston and piston rings got updated to avoid possible head gasket issues. That doesn't happen so often in the UK anyway. I'm also coming from a manual Jazz (which has been the most realible car ever yet) so I can't wait to pull the trigger. Beware the second hand market is going up. The same specced CTs are about 15-30% pricier now compared to 6-10months ago.

I thought that the batteries are supposed to last 15 years but mileage can affect that as well as the time and frequency the car was stationed over the years.. How's the mileage @Storm Chaser @corkboi?

@Pastorecould you please let us know what quotes are you getting? This could be really useful as a point of reference for all of us. I also wonder how much lexus specialists charge and if it warranty (of both car and batteries) still gets extended.
